14. To be fair to Danny Dimes, he had TERRIBLE coaches most of his career and was on TERRIBLE teams where literally only Saquon was doing anything. So you can see why once the Giants hired Brian "I turned Josh Allen into an All Pro" DaBoll, and Jones immediately looked better, they thought maybe he turned the corner. But that's the ol contract year facade. Everyone with sense knew they should tag Jones and see if he can keep it up. Not paying Saquon was insane and looks even more insane now that he's a legit MVP candidate and basically every team they paid their quality RB is benefitting from that decision. Maybe now the Giants will draft the right QB (or get a Justin Fields) and rebuild around him and a new coach (prolly Vrabel if they're smart)

23. Unc you said it in a previous show that Daniel Jones saga is the fault of owner Mara. DJ was suppose to be Eli Manning 2.0 who can run. I am a 40 year Giant fan plainly see Mara forced Jones on Schoen and Daboll. Every new gm and new coach wants there guy and they were tasked with fixing the unfixable. DJ never was allowed to even have competition and Tyrod Taylor wasn't resigned was a better QB. DeVito likely wins a few games and we miss out on the top 3 draft QBs like last year.

24. I have to take a player's word when they say how hard the QB position is in the NFL. But, we have seen so many QBs get drafted and then look so terrible, to the point where you really question what anyone saw in that player. These guys look REALLY bad. And then that problem is compounded by the fact the QB position itself is vastly overpaid.

He would not have been able to run the ball. Paying him would not have made the NYG any better I feel.
