Coached the Bruins to a historic season 2 years ago. Thoughts?

Fun fact, he was the captain of the University of Maine Black Bears when Paul Kariya was on the team in 92/93. In that season they both took Maine to their first NCAA Championship.
Kariya became their new captain in the 93/94 season when Montgomery signed with the Blues.
It would be great if they went out and got a Montgomery. But I’d really excited for a Bruce B redemption arc.
General consensus is that Monty is a terrific coach but was unfortunately a scapegoat for much bigger problems outside his control. He would be bringing in a winning mentality and it seems like our players definitely need a locker room reset.
He’ll be scooped up before we get a crack at him. I think we’re stuck with Cronin for at least this year

Nope. Going to Canadiens when they part ways with MSL.
after the money the bruins lost me on last nights game, they damn well should have sacked someone.
But now that team is i free fall – they should rebuild
This would be a dream hire. 10/10. No complaints, don’t see it happening though.
Is it bad that I’m kinda pulling for an L in Chicago tonight? Gotta get this guy before someone else does!
Montgomery is a very good coach, he was the reason Boston even had any success with this roster, but of course it made their delusional fan base thing they can contend lol, so he kinda became a victim of his own success and thus unreasonable expectations.
It’s a distraction from the gm in boston
It’s us. We’ve got zero ambition at the minute. Haven’t for a while. He’ll be another name we miss out on
I figure Cronin being a first time NHL head coach means his salary isn’t too high, but it seems like the Ducks have way too many assistant coaches who probably also get let go. No idea if they have multi year contracts
I’m a ducks fan, my wife is a bruins fan. We both support each other’s teams and are devastated to be losing Monty. Would absolutely love to see him snatched up by the ducks!
