Not like Kapanen is pushing the needle in St. Louis, but I’m sure they’d rather him as a warm body in the AHL that they can call up with NHL experience
Pierre Engvall is out there somewhere. They should grab him, too.

Ceci, Barrie, Dermott, Brown, Hyman, Campbell, Pickard, Conor Carrick, Sam Carrick, Gregg McKegg and now Kapanen.
I’m probably missing more but it’s not even an exaggeration the Oilers love ex Leafs.

The Oilers are literally building their identity on “well they once had marginal success with Marner and Matthew, PICK’EM UP!”
