Davis injuries absolutely derailed his career, sucks
It was time for them both to be removed from the 40 man roster, but not sure Cowles needs protection. Would a team really add Cowles to the 26 man roster all season?
Really sad to see Davis DFA, but the poor guy just suffered injury after injury. A shame too ’cause he got on some type of heater at one point earlier in the year.
It’s interesting the Cubs rostered Cowles. Infield depth is definitely lacking though.
Damn. So long Brennen Davis. Major what if prospect.
Remember when Davis was the next big prospect lol
I hope Davis still has a career in bigs
Matt Mervis is next.
I could see Davis back on a Spring Training NRI

Here’s hoping both are resigned after the rule 5 draft so they can continue to rehab with the club.
The people’s fist was some of the most electric 2 months I’ve seen. Hope he can rebound somewhere.

Everyone is talking about Davis, but I’m so bummed about Adbert. I don’t know how many of yall follow him on Twitter, but he bleeds Cubbie blue. He loves being here and 100% wants to be great for the Cubs. I hope he rebounds back from his injury and kills it like he did before. If he doesn’t stay with us, I hope he gets the bag and kills it for another team (as long as it’s not the Cards or Brewers).
