GAME RECAP: Penguins vs. Lightning (11.19.24) | Rakell Ties the Team Lead in Goals
As the Penguins took on the Tampa Bay Lightning in this Tuesday night tilt, the Penguins organization held their Hockey Fights Cancer night. In the 1st period, the Pens hit the ground running as Jesse Puljujarvi scored the night’s first goal. The Lightning were unable to find the back of the net. To increase the lead, Rickard Rakell scored his 7th goal of the season during the 2nd period, which made the score 2-0. In the final 20 minutes, Brayden Point scored, followed by a tally from Anthony Cirelli to tie the game. Both teams secured a point as the game went to overtime, where Point would score the game-winning goal for the Bolts, leading to a 3-2 final score in favor of the visitors.

It won’t be for 16 years until Penguins make the playoffs
LETS GO BOLTS ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Jarry losing as usual.
Not again…
Why does this team always stop attacking when they get a lead? They go into "prevent defense" mode and it never ever works.
WHAT ELSE IS NEW NO FN D
I've been wanting the Pens to use the old Caps power play for years. Crosby = Kuzy. Rakell = TJ Oshie. The Pens may have been coached. Nice power play goal.
Nothing more common then a blown lead by the penguins
