5. Daniel Jones didn't draft himself and he certainly didn't force the Giants to give him a franchise QB contract so I wouldn't call him stealing. The current and past GMs both suck. That's the main reason the Giants are the doormats of the league.

11. You could say they are tanking without Jones if he were obviously better than the backups, and given the mental side he definitely not better. He has 4 games over 200 yards and 2 games over 21 points, and his best season he barely got out of the bottom 10 passing the ball. Because his big season was so low they should have put a $20M a year and 50M guaranteed contract in front of him and told/lied to him they will better any other offers.
    Ravens usually lose in the playoffs because they do not reach 20 points, the Bills lost but they were reaching 24 points. KCs offense with an obviously diminished Kelcy could also have a problem scoring in the playoffs and I would be surprised if they score 28 or more points against the Bills in the playoffs.

20. Fraud is using deception for financial gain. The one football crime that cannot be laid at Daniel Jones feet is being deceptive about what he was, his mediocrity was always on display for the whole world to see. He never put up any numbers to justify getting a second contract. Schoen and Daboll legitimately thought Jones was worth it.

26. I think it’s obvious, the Giants were hoping Brian Daboll could turn Daniel Jones into a Josh Allen type Quarterback. Hindsight is 20/20, and that was never going to happen. To them it was worth the gamble because Daniel Jones had some physical gifts, but it wasn’t nearly enough to make him into a good player. They lost the gamble.

He does not have good enough anticipation to be a top tier QB, but he's a very good runner and has a strong arm.
