[Coach Yac] How much longer does Kyle call this play with Deebo?

  1. That was my thought when I watched it get stuffed. Just feels like arrogance at this point. But I guess when receivers aren’t getting open you try to do other things to get them the ball.

  2. You’d think at some point an offensive genius would build something out of this play that isn’t a handoff to deebo that gets stuffed for negative yardage every time

  3. I always wondered can WRs just toss the ball out of bounds to save on the loss of yardage once they get around the edge?

  4. i rather shanahan call a screen or bubble screen to deebo rather than these jet sweeps or designed running plays for him which the majority of the time just doesn’t work anymore and are nowhere near as effective as they were back around the 2019 – 2021 seasons

heck where are all the RB screens that i see so many teams using that i rarely see the 49ers offense run or is the OL so clueless & inept that shanahan doesn’t think they can execute such a play design

  5. Tbh this just looks like poor execution. The most important blocks were all missed. Jennings completely whiffs on setting the edge. Blocks no one. Saubert looks like he’s supposed to chip that linebacker for CMC to clean up, but he barely puts a hand on him. Then CMC allows that same linebacker to penetrate 5 yards behind the LOS.

  6. I feel like they have more success when they do a reverse. Or am I just making shit up in my head?

  7. I don’t mind the call, but I’d like to run it with Guerendo. Deebo doesn’t have the speed to make this play work anymore.

  8. Without watching it I’m going to assume it’s the Deebo sweep?

Works like 1/20 times. When it does he runs in for a TD. Every other time results in a negative play and/or injuries.

Not worth it. Too many teams expect it now.
