There’s not enough talk about this guy. He’s been around for every regime and all the dysfunction over the years. Its time to start raising our voices to get this guy fired and get a real team president in here

  1. Russini very clearly has an axe to grind with this organization, but if anything in that article is true, then we are truly doomed until we get new ownership

  2. President if I’m not wrong is about the business aspect of the Jets. I’m not knowledgeable enough about what kind of money the team pulls in but I’d imagine he’s kept his job for a reason.

  3. I assume all these advisers who report directly to Woody are yes men who tell him whatever he wants to hear. Probably one of the many reasons the Jets are a dumpster fire.

  4. Dude went from intern to president of the jets in 19 years according to his LinkedIn. That’s kinda interesting.

  5. This guy is like a CFO or something if you read his bio. He is not involved in football decisions

  6. Hymie has been involved with every hiring since Bowles. Was at the meetings with Rodgers also. He truly is the only constant in this entire decade of suck. He’s the right hand man of the Johnson family and will absolutely be involved with a new coaching/GM search.

If Woody keeps Hymie as team President, we’re likely to be doomed to the same poor decision making we’ve been subjected to. Clear out the yes men and get someone in here to change the culture from the top down.

  7. They need to burn everything down and review practices and rebuild the personnel in each part of operations.

  8. You are going to fire the president of the business side of the football team? The guy who gets sponsors is the reason why we are trash?

  9. He’s in charge of what’s really important to Woody Johnson, making money! Jets marketing is great, they change the logo and uniforms every couple of years to drive jersey and apparel sales, not mention ticket prices. Elhai has done his job well, he’s a business manager not a football manager. His side of Jets management doesn’t have anything to do with football, just making money while having a bad on field product.
