Angel Reese sat down for a live taping of 360 With Speedy at ComplexCon in Las Vegas this past weekend (Saturday, November 17) and was asked about her net worth.

Speedy told her that Google estimated her net worth to be $2 million.

“Is it way off? Is it close?” Speedy asked, which prompted her to say, “Way off.”

Speedy then asked what it’s like to be in such a stable financial position. “It’s not just a luxury for me, it’s a luxury for everybody around me,” she explained. “I can pay my mom’s mortgage, my family, everybody’s taken care of. I bring my friends here. Two of my friends, bring them on PJs whenever… They love this. They meet Beyonce… Jay-Z… All my friends eat. One thing about me, I have a really good circle around me.”

Reese made headlines about her WNBA earnings after going on Instagram Live last month and discussing how much she makes from the league.

“The WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” she said. “I don’t even think that pays one of my bills. Literally.”

After figuring out that she made $74,000 this past season and that her rent is $8,000, she said, “Yo! I’m living beyond my means! Sike.”

Cam’ron later warned the Chicago Sky player that she should pay attention to who’s handling her finances and not screwing her over in the long run.

“Make sure you stay on top of these financial advisors, these accountants, these people taking care of your money because they’ll steal your shit in the middle of the night,” he said on his and Mase’s It Is What It Is show.

“I’m pretty sure you have a lot of money coming in endorsements,” he added. “Don’t take it for granted, and don’t sit here and think that it’s going to last forever cause you’re still young; you have a lot of time, but make sure you watch your money and the people around you.”

In fact, the 22-year-old has inked a lot of deals outside her day job. Her WNBA salary is also set to increase over her four-year contract, reaching $93,636 in the last year.

However, not all WNBA players enjoy the same brand deals as Reese.

There were more ComplexCon(versations) events throughout the weekend. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg linked with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN for a live taping of Drink Champs, IShowSpeed chatted with Speedy Morman for 360 with Speedy, and Awake NY’s Angelo Baque sat down with Complex’s Chief Content Officer Noah Callahan-Bever for Idea Generation.

ComplexCon will return to Vegas and Hong Kong in 2025 with Daniel Arsham as Global Creative Director.
