So Flames let their foot off the gas for about 12 minutes of the 2nd period.
Other than that, I felt like we dominated the play.
So happy for Wolf to get the win – he is the only reason it was a 1-goal game quite a few times. Isles goalie played really well too.
Glad I could watch this
It’s too early to get too excited about Wolf but there are signs he could be a legitimate franchise goalie for the Flames. If this turns out to be the case, that is probably the biggest piece to rebuilding a team. After all, you can compensate for lack of a true star forward or defense man in the aggregate but there is no way to compensate for average or worse goaltending.
Both pp units looked good last night with the one opportunity they had. If they can keep gaining entries and moving the puck like pp2 was it will be dangerous real soon.
Give me more of those phat rass bombs down the middle too.
