[Traina] Eli Manning is one step closer to the Hall of Fame. He made the 25-man cut announced this morning

  1. Notice how every time someone mentions the HoF class, he’s always the headline? In all the Schefter, Rap, etc reports

  2. Eli’s induction and our next franchise QB playing in the Hall of Fame game on the same weekend… I need that badly

  3. I don’t think he gets in *immediately*. The only 100% lock for the first ballot is Kuechly, and there’s a bunch of guys who have been knocking at the door for a while. I’m still shocked Steve Smith Sr. and Jared Allen haven’t gotten in yet.

  4. There are only 6 quarterbacks in NFL history with at least 2 Super Bowl victories and 2 Super Bowl MVPs – Eli is one of them, and all of the others are in the hall of fame or will be in the hall of fame when they’re eligible (Brady and Mahomes).

Eli is getting in and I can’t wait for the tears from r/nfl. While I think he will get in on his first try, I also wouldn’t be shocked if the hardliners keep him out

  5. I knew it was unlikely, but was hoping that somehow Tiki would’ve made it in this year too, but he missed this cut. Would’ve been funny seeing him and Eli inducted together.

  6. If he gets in? I will NEVER say his name without “Hall of Famer” before it. For the rest of my life.

  7. I think it’s pretty obvious Eli is making it into the hall by now

It may have been questioned (by idiots) before Brady won a Super Bowl in Tampa but after Brady pulled that off it showed the GOAT who Eli beat twice to win his chips

Also with his and Peyton’s podcast he’s well entrenched into the politics of the game as well
