  1. Shad got his stadium deal, he’s just taking us for a ride now.

He’ll let Doug ride out the season and then tear the foundation apart (copium detected).

  2. This can’t be for real.

    What does it take?

Worst loss in jaguars history and nothing is done.

We have lost 4 of the last 5.

    Nothing looks like it’s working

This is the literal definition of insanity

  3. If he is still here, the only saving grace would be if Shad sat him down and told him that either he gets fired this week or Press does

  4. Khan did all that posturing in the media feeding “Grr doug if you embarass me FOR THE LAST TIME, i swear to god!!!!” only for doug to embarass him with one of the worst losses in the history of the NFL and still (apparantly) do fucking nothing

  5. This is such bullshit. His smug assholeness to the media is even more infuriating. Him and Khan deserve each other. CLLLLLLLLLLOWNS.

  6. He’s clearly getting fired, guys. It’s probably not today because??? but there’s legitimately no way he is the head coach of the Jags for next season.

  7. Shad is obviously another example of a professional sports owner that when presented the choice between profiting 175 million with a losing season and profiting 150 million with a championship season, would pick the 175 million. What a joke. I can understand needing a return on your investment but these owners who are obviously not fans of the teams they are in charge of need to unload the investment for the betterment of the franchise. You’re not a fan, you’re a businessman, and if this is the way you run all your businesses (lack of accountability) I’m surprised you were able to become a billionaire in the first place

Khan is weak. Doesn’t even deserve that last name.

  9. Clown-out games should be a permanent fixture. They look fun, I wish I could go to one and hang out with some of you guys

  10. Okay if Doug was fired, who takes over? You’d assume Press would be fired too, so Nielsen, Raucher?
Maybe it’s not worth putting in an interim if those are your choices.

  11. Like I really don’t get it, outside of the on field product shad is a great owner; new stadium, city development, willing to spend money on players, ect; but does he just legitimately not care if the team is successful? Because what he’s saying by not doing anything is that what has happened is acceptable and that despite his statement that this was the best team ever he ultimately has no expectations for on field success so who are we (the fans) to expect that.

  12. I dont think this is that surprising ….shad and staff might be making calls right now….setting up a gameplan. The biggest problem is….if you fire everyone there is….no one. There’s going to be a leadership vacuum for the rest of the season and if you dont have any capable staff well….

So either shad is locking down who’s going to step in for the next 6 weeks….or they have resigned to waiting until the end of the season to completely clean house.

  13. They misfiled his previous personal performance improvement paperwork at corporate so he’s going to have to get a pass while they start over.

  14. We all know he’s getting fired. Whether it’s today, or end of the season, doesn’t really matter *when* it happens. It’s inevitable

  15. If nobody gets fired this week I might go to the Texans game just to lose my voice booing for 3 straight hours.

  16. I knew Khan wouldn’t have the balls. He’s always taken half measures for the entire time he’s been the owner and look where it’s gotten us. It’s pathetic any other NFL owner would’ve cleaned house by now

  17. If Doug comes out and says something about watching tape and making adjustments then I hope everyone in the room just busts out laughing

  18. Realistically though, who would be interim? Press is just Doug in another body and Ryan Nielson is cheeks.

  19. Doug and co will be fired end of season. If you plan on cleaning house and consider the season a loss there is no harm in waiting. Get a good pick, clean house, let someone new do their thing. It doesn’t matter if he’s fired today or in two months.
