  1. I wouldn't draft Sanders under any circumstances because his father comes with him. Dim-witted decisions regarding player personnel have made the Cowboys what they currently are, and I don't believe most or any of that is on McCarthy. Remember that this is the team that let Amari Cooper go for a 4th found pick because they got mad at him. Seen what Cooper is doing lately for Buffalo? When momentary emotional upsets inform your decisions regarding personnel, the team suffers.

As for much of the rest, here's one thing I think most of us can agree on: Offenses become exponentially better when the offensive line is absolutely first rate. These days, the Dallas line is third rate. I think of Joe Gibbs' success with the Redskins in the 1980s. They won three championships in eleven or twelve years with three different QBs. Not one of those QBs are in the Hall of Fame, but those offensive lines were consistently awesome. When these same Cowboys won three out of four championships in the early to mid-Nineties, their offensive lines were superb. Would Troy and Co. have had the same success with average or below-average players manning the line? I don't think so.

What Dallas has done at running back is also a real head-scratcher. Bringing back Zeke was simply bizarre. As for Dak, all anyone can do is shrug in disbelief at the money they are now paying him (and thus not paying offensive linemen, a great RB, and/or others). Again, that's not McCarthy. That's Jones and his son.

  2. First of all Colin, you're idiotic if you even seriously consider giving up Micah and THREE FIRST ROUND PICKS, for a quarterback who could be the next Bryce Young in the NFL. Second, Bo Nix is NOT an elite QB 😂😂😂

  3. Colin Cowherd is full of it. 😂 The Panthers took big swings… and look at them. They lost Caleb Williams, DJ Moore and other picks for Bryce young.. meanwhile, the bears are in rebuild heaven
