Warriors Get MORE Bad News After Loss vs. Clippers | Golden State Warriors News

Golden State Warriors News today comes with a lot of bad as the Dubs fell to the Los Angeles Clippers for the second time in the 2024-25 NBA Season for a plethora of reasons, but none more than the Warriors free throw shooting being abysmal. Warriors highlights have been virtually absent from the free throw line as they rank dead last in the NBA, and Warriors head coach Steve Kerr made comments about the issue in the Warriors Postgame. Warriors vs. Clippers highlights also showed another glaring weakness for GSW in the frontcourt as LAC dominated the rebounding category once again. Warriors Coach Steve Kerr On Free Throw Struggles:
“I think we entered the game dead-last in free throws. We also entered the game 10-2. They haven’t hurt us until tonight. We’ve got to work on it, obviously. Our guys have to get in the gym and find their rhythm, find their confidence from the line.”

GSW Head Coach Steve Kerr On De’Anthony Melton Injury News:
“De’Anthony does a little bit of everything: on-ball defense, rebounding, 3-point shooting, playmaking… He’s obviously a really important player for us and the guy who we envisioned and has done a good job as a starting two guard, so it’s a concern for sure.”

  1. It's time to make the move while team are still eyeing for kuminga and podz.

Trade wiggins, kuminga, podz for Giannis. Make it a 3way trade or any.

    Warriors starting 5
    Curry
    Green
    Giannis
    Melton
    Tjd

    Bench
    Hield
    Moody
    Gp2
    Kyle Anderson
    Looney
    Lindy waters

You still have a 11man rotation, maybe this can get you 2more rings. Forget about the new gen team, PODZ AND KUMINGA WILL NEVER BE THE NEW FACE OF GSW.

  2. i'll make an allowance for post players, but perimeter players MUST be able to shoot. in high school they should shoot at least 70%, in college they should shoot 75% and in the pros they should shoot 80%. mid- to high-80's or 90% makes you elite or truly elite. it's disgraceful, really, that none of wiggins, podz, payton, kuminga, anderson, and moody can break 75%. heck, three of them can't even break 65%. come on, guys. you gotta shoot free throws at least at a high school level!!

  3. Free throws. To Kaminga. $200 mil? You’re not worth $100 mil if you can’t shoot free throws. To Team… Championship teams do all the little things well. They don’t shoot free throws like a sub-par high school team. The Question.. How much do you want it???

  4. Wasn't it also reported here that LA didn't want a deal with Golden State? That there were no intensive talks with the Jazz? So can we stop with the BS that they should have just dealt Podz or that it would have failed because of him?

  5. Biggest flaw is Kerr didn't stick to words at beginning of season when he said that he would get players to get back on D fast after opponent got a stop, rebound or creating a turnover. That leaves a fast break or catching Warriors on their back feet with D not set. Also, their 3 point shooting is just average. Buddy came down to earth, Kuminga dribbles into traffic, and when Curry bricks a 3 it's 100% a fast break for the opponent. Lastly, Warriors are back to their same shit, which is turning ball over at a rapid pace, and inability to practice FTs in practice and making them in actual game. If it's playoffs with stakes on the line, it may bite them in the ass.

  6. I thought Podziemski worked hard in the off season on his shooting stroke , he looks like he lacks confidence . Kuminga also was working on his shot but seems not have shown any improvement either . Both have been disappointing . If this team is to do anything , they have to improve from the line . These are just points left behind .
