  1. It doesn't make any sense to spemd $650 on one player i would rather the following
    1. Resign alonso
    2. Sign blake snell
    3. Sign nathan evaldi
    4. Sign blake triben
Those 4 guys alone will probably cost u $350 million combined and u would still have about $300 million to spend on other needs like more big bats in the lineup among others

    5. I would trade for jordan Montgomery i lnow he had a bad year last year but he didnt have spring training and hes better than the bum severino in the postseason hes a PROVEN post season player and its only a one year deal

  2. So the dodgers have no holes on their lineup. They do need an OF since mookie is moving. They can potentially add sasaki for a low price. And they have a smaller payroll than the Mets and Yankees. Who need multiple positions to fill with a possible hefty contract to Soto. With those things in mind the Soto to Dodgers doesn’t sound too crazy.

But my guess is the Mets.

  3. Dodgers don't sign Boras players to big contracts and that's a fact in recent years. All teh Boras they tried to pursue, like Harper, Seager, Cole, and others, all sign elsewhere. Boras is using the Dodgers to drive up the price.

  4. Soto does NOT want to join the super team that just kicked his teams ass. Too competitive for that. I see him choosing the borough that’s dishing out the most money and also gave the Dodgers a better fight.

  5. I'm pretty sure Soto will never come to the Mets. This team lack of credibility even if they did a good season but to me it was just an event. Today big names prefer to go to LA, Philadelphia or maybe to the Yankees because these teams usually do the playoffs.

  6. LA already has ticket sales covered and bringing in a mint on Shohei. LA picks up Teo and Roki! And if Soto's fielding is waning five years from now the DH spot is locked up with Shohei.
