  1. I hope that Bryce huff the person is okay and recovers, as a football player I really wish we had made a trade at the deadline for a veteran DE

  2. Ignoring the snarky dweeby comments I do wonder if this is part of what was holding him back, particularly early in the season. He’s been looking more and more solid as the weeks go on but I imagine since so much of pass rushing is in the hands that if your wrist is fucking up you’re not gonna be having a good time.

His decline just felt too out of nowhere for there to not be something up.

  3. i broke my wrist and had surgery for it and it took like 3 months to heal. it sucks. hopefully he broke a diff bone than i did.

  4. It’s undeniable he hasn’t made the impact we had all hoped for when he signed this offseason, however he’s been performing better as the entire unit becomes more accustomed to Fangio’s defense. We saw Reddick surge once he had his cast off last year so we’ve seen how much a wrist or hand injury can impact you while not missing time. I’m sure he can still add something to our team whether this year or next.

  5. I think this reset and time away will get him right and healthy. Jalyx Hunt is gonna bump up to those 15 snaps a game.

Would Tarron Jackson or David Anenih get called up I wonder

  6. For those curious, the remaining edge rushers on the team are Josh Sweat, Brandon Graham, Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt.

You really want 5 guys in rotation. Hopefully we can sign someone decent to replace him.

  7. He was a huge disappointment for the first half of this season. But if he is able to get healthy and come back with a fresh body late in the season and make some plays, I’ll forgive his terrible start to his Eagles tenure.

  8. Jalyx Hunt being serviceable in what was meant to be red shirt year has come in handy. Ironically.

  9. Honestly might be perfect.

    1. He’s been a non-factor for us anyway.
    2. He’ll be fresh for the playoffs.
    3. This is a 10 sack guy. If his wrist gets figured out, we’re essentially getting that EDGE help at the deadline like we were all asking for.

Losing basically nothing in the short term and might get a fresh, impact guy for the postseason.

  10. Bet we’ll see Carter at edge a bit more with the depth we have at DT.

Is there any old free agents we could be looking at like when we signed Suh and Linval 2022???

  11. Bummer since it seemed like he was starting to get into a better groove. Hopefully he can come back healthy and ready for the playoffs

  12. He was playing better as of late on an extremely low snap count. He’s good depth as he ate a lot of chips

  13. Someone bookmark this and call out my shit if I’m wrong, but I think Huff is gonna be a 10 sack player next year and will contribute when he comes back this season. We were struggling figuring out how to use him at first but he was improving before the injury

  14. Despite what some might say, this is certainly not a *good* thing. Huff was playing better the past few weeks and now an already slim d line, gets slimmer. The positive we can take in this is that Jalyx will get some more reps and hopefully speed his development (also Huff will get healthy).
