They must be really good at avoiding contact. Right guys?
Yeah I get the argument that their drives don’t always lead to layup attempts and we kick out a lot but this is just absurd. Is this just counting shooting fouls or all common fouls as well?
I know our whole team does too, but Dub seems to get an unnaturally low number of foul calls
At some point, all the pure basketball reasons just don’t seem enough. Avoiding contact, kicking out and stuff. All understandable why drives don’t have a direct correlation to fouls, but that stat is kinda absurd.
This is insanely low. I do wanna see what their shot attempts are off drives, but still, two fouls is crazy
I’m more concerned w/coaching and why we’re playing no bigs. Play Dieng, play Kenrich, play your team to keep balance and continuity, instead of playing them to win every meaningless game in Nov
Yes, the raw numbers look bad, but I’d like to see a compilation of missed calls instead of numbers without context. These guys don’t drive for contact or sometimes to even score themselves on the drive. Drawing fouls is a skill and that group of players isn’t great at it. I really don’t think there is some ref conspiracy against us.
The NBA has created huge incentives to theatrically sell calls the past few seasons. Just watching Castle play last night every time he wanted a call he’d dramatically throw his head and shoulders back, maybe our guys need to start doing a bit of that. The team-wide free throw discrepancies are just killing us at some points.
1-1 for JDub yesterday was insane
At least they’re getting scores
Life in the big city 🤷♀️
I feel like the league has an agenda. Not so hidden btw. Everyone so upset about FTs last year that they are consciously changing the way they call our games.
I think league/referee memos should be made public.
