Angel Reese had some corrections to make after hearing claims about her net worth.

While speaking as a guest at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, Reese was interviewed by host Speedy Morman, who brought up the WNBA star’s financial accomplishments since she was drafted by the Chicago Sky. Morman mentioned Reese’s estimated $2 million net worth, which she quickly corrected, according to Sports Illustrated.

When asked by Morman if the figure was incorrect, Reese, 22, said that not only is it inaccurate, it is “way off” what she is actually worth, without offering a specific number — though implying that it was more.

“I’m able to soon retire my mom, I can pay off my mortgage, my family, everybody’s taken care of… One thing about me, I have a really good circle around me, and I think that’s really important,” Reese said.

This isn’t the first time that Reese has opened up about her finances, as last month she made it clear that playing in the WNBA is nowhere near her sole source of income.

Reese said on social media that her WNBA salary doesn’t cover her monthly $8,000 rent.

“I just hope y’all know, the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” Reese told her followers at the time. “I don’t even think it pays one of my bills, literally.”

According to Sportrac, Reese made $73,439 during her rookie season with the Sky.

Reese’s net worth is supported by her host of other business ventures, including her Unapologetically Angel podcast, her endorsement deal from Hershey’s Reese’s Pieces, her shoe deal with Reebok and joining the Unrivaled 3-on-3 basketball team.

She also represents brands such as Beats by Dre and Good American.

Before she was drafted into the WNBA, Reese was ranked as one of the highest-earning NIL athletes, which also included now-NBA player Bronny James and LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne.
