It's no secret that one of the only reasons we've been consistently making the playoffs is cuz of our goalie duo, if we get rid of him we're probably cooked. His play is amazing but there's only so much he can do if our defense isn't helping him out
When Igor wins us a Cup THEN give him 12 mil a year. Until then…. NO!! Never build a team around a goaltender.
Give Igor the money 💰,but don't give him a no trade clause!! The Rangers need goal scores. Our first line is a joke.
The Rangers have been built around elite level goaltending as far back as Kevin Weekes. We just do not have the defense to not have a goalie like Igor in net.
Im not sure another club would over pay for him unless they are close to winning it all Maybe the Leafs. So why should we? I want him long term but within 2 years he's going to be the goalie on a rebuilding club. 🏒♥️
Igor must be signed, no doubt about it! Try 11.5 for 5 years. That's what I'd prefer. Then Rangers need to fix the D. Mancini & Fortescue can be part of that.
