Reeves and Missi were nice bright spots
Obviously it was one game, but Reeves really looked good until he started chucking late in the 4th. The things he was doing seem like they would 100% translate to games with the rest of the roster too. His floater is awesome and his release is super quick. I really hope he gets more run.
Idk how he hasn’t been playing in equal amounts to Cain, Boston, or Nowell.
Also, really liked the aggression from Missi on O today. I wonder if Theiss has like a handshake agreement to let him rest or something, because him not playing at all is bonkers.
Enjoyed seeing Elf out there too. Fun having a pass-first point guard, even if he isn’t very good.

Apparently some team impersonating the Pelicans played something resembling a basketball game tonight. And in just a few short months I’ll hear from the Pels about renewing season tickets. I only had to eat a 43% price increase last year for the privilege of being able to watch this shit show. But I’m sure my ticket rep will put a positive spin on it.

The silver lining is that willie is forced to develop his young guys like reeves. There’s no reason he shouldn’t have gotten more run sooner. It’s almost like Willie is getting exposed for not having the competence to play certain guys sooner. Story of his life as a head coach.
