Why the 49ers offense is in good shape moving forward if Brock Purdy “lets it rip”

Kyle Posey’s breakdowns are always really interesting and they never get a ton of views so I wanted to share. Cheers.
Haven’t watched the video just got baited by the title. Can he let it rip? The line holds for 2 seconds, the receivers don’t get separation.
Our problem will continue to be the line in pass protection gets pushed back way too much. Brock has his strong and weak points like anyone else. And when he’s in the pocket and guys are being pushed back into him so fast it’s one of the most detrimental factors, him more than other starting qb’s simply because he’s not big. Wet conditions & Brock having men right up in his face largely neutralize what is normally a deadly passing attack. Even when we’re running it well, which we are not currently.
noticing a lot of “2nd year QB” … QB who are in their second full season as a starting in the NFL … are struggling or at least playing not as well as they did last season
purdy, love, and stroud in particular are having down 2024 seasons statistically as a whole when compared to how they all performed in 2023
**purdy**
* **2023** – 69% comp % , 268 yards per game , 9.6 ypa , 31 td/11 int, 113.0 QB rating, 73.4 QBR , 1st in QB EPA * **2024** – 66% comp % , 261 yards per game , 8.5 ypa , 13 td/8 int, 95.9 QB rating, 67.4 QBR , 6th in QB EPA
**love**
* **2023** – 64% comp % , 245 yards per game , 7.2 ypa , 32 td/11 int, 96.1 QB rating, 62.9 QBR , 4th in QB EPA * **2024** – 62% comp % , 260 yards per game , 8.2 ypa , 16 td/11 int, 90.6 QB rating, 59.3 QBR , 16th in QB EPA
**stroud**
* **2023** – 64% comp % , 274 yards per game , 8.2 ypa , 23 td/5 int, 100.8 QB rating, 58.3 QBR , 7th in QB EPA * **2024** – 63% comp % , 239 yards per game , 7.2 ypa , 12 td/7 int, 88.0 QB rating, 54.4 QBR , 35th in QB EPA
sure some of it has to deal with some of their weapons have been hurt and missed games this 2024 NFL season but they just haven’t looked as great on the field as they did a season ago where purdy was in consideration for NFL MVP for almost all of last season and i remember this past offseason both love & stroud were thought to be potential viable candidates for NFL MVP for this upcoming 2024 season
i wonder if those other two fan bases are worried about their young QB like i’ve seen a lot of 49ers fans are worried about purdy this season
guessing the reasons for their drop in play in 2024 is because of them not having all your weapons healthy and just playing NFL starting QB is hard and young QB have their ups and downs during the early parts of their NFL playing careers too
I’m not sure what Beyblade has to do with winning football games.
Doesn’t fix our defense
I’d like to see the niners get back to what they do well this season which is run the ball over and over again. That o line, for all its slippery porous faults, is actually pretty good at opening lanes for ball carriers. First downs is what Brock needs to work his mojo with receivers. Shanny should really establish a tone these next few games and put Buffalo on notice that we plan on controlling the tempo. That’s the one aspect of their game that is a real bright spot. It would really open up Brock’s game.
I think we are playing with house money now. Let it ride or die baby.
