I was already a fan of Russ before he came to the Nuggets. He can be an incredibly frustrating player to root for, but the way the national media—and especially Lakers fans—talk about him made it impossible not to root for him. If we win a championship this year, it would be one hell of a story. Either way, as Nuggets fans, we’re all on this Russ rollercoaster. I, for one, am going to enjoy the ride and hope for the best.

I love the addition of Westbrook. I know a lot weren’t but I expected him to fit in greatly. He’s a good teammate and non stop positive energy. Huge improvement over Reggie. Good to see DJ getting time too
I think it just shows you that he’s having fun this season. Might be due to the minimal contract not being a starter being away from the big media outlets of LA or that we might not have a very toxic /ego locker room like both LA teams and Russ just being more mature knowing he doesn’t have to carry that much of the load. We will see how the season goes but it looks Like he really is enjoying the game again and he is that perfect vet/spark off the bench for us.

I didn’t see anyone posting anything about the Russ the previous 3 games when he went a collective 7/23.
I assume he will be going to the HOF when he hangs them up. Do you guys think he’ll go in as a member of the Thunder? I can’t imagine it would be as a Nugget lol
He’s been so much better for Denver than I imagined possible. Def a fair amount of bad TOs but the way Laker / NBA fans talked about him I thought this was a horrible signing but he’s been solid. Still makes about 2-3 plays a game where I’m like wtf tho lol
