well. on the plus side…someone help me out here.
Bogi shooting like KD after he lost his powers in Thunderstruck
On a positive note the Warriors only shot 35% from three which will improve the Hawks 3pt% allowed on the year.
Good thing point differential doesn’t matter because that was appalling from the team. Lazy on defense, I don’t even know if we run offense or if it’s just iso, drive and kick or just freestyle. Warriors showed us what a real team with an offensive and defensive structure is. Hope this was just a one off game
sometimes i wish trae actually was as selfish as haters like to say he is
Hunter and Bogi were awful tonight, Trae has to score 20+ every night
Not for the Cup. Dont care.
It looked like they were trying to play much faster tonight off makes which I actually like a lot, generated a lot of open shots that just didn’t go in
They didn’t look too bad, shots just weren’t falling tonight.

Also, at least we can’t say this about Trae Young.
Bogi still hates passing and can’t finish. Hopefully he can still shoot.
I think we played better defense on ourselves than GS played on us. We could not hit anything. Golden State Double agent Bogi better be ready vs the Bulls. Can’t have another bad offensive night like tonight.
Risacher had 12 points, 8 rebounds & was the only player with a positive plus/minus…WTF is Snyder benching him in the 2nd half of games. Let the man take his lumps, especially in a blowout like this. Snyder has to be amongst the very worst NBA coaches atp
Trae hasn’t been right since Playoffs 2022. His psyche broke. He has not been the same (consistent) person since then and we’re all lying to ourselves if you don’t think so.
He is supposed to be getting talked about like he’s a superstar. He’s fallen in to the shadows of his peers while they succeed. Unfortunately, this isn’t working and I don’t think it ever will. It hurts to say. However, until the day he’s no longer a Hawk, I’m with Rayford until the wheels fall off because I have no other choice.
This has been my thought for awhile, doesn’t really have to do with tonight.
Said this in the game thread but I’ll say it again
One of the biggest issues with this team is when things aren’t going their way they look and act defeated.
A tiny run by a team is pretty much guaranteed to turn into a massive run because we put our heads down and start playing lazy and unmotivated. That leads to stupid decisions, horrible shots, bad turnovers, and easy offense for opponents. The slightest hint of a momentum shift leads to a horribly lopsided run against us, that is completely preventable if these bums just check their attitudes. Just incredibly frustrating.
What’s sad is the Warriors played like crap & still blew us out…
While nobody is here I’ve always wanted to see how this feels..
EVERY HAWKS PLAYER SUCKS AND THEY HAVE ZERO FUTURE! No team has ever lost an NBA game by 23 or had an off night on the road so they should be ashamed. Quinn needs to go. Should have taken Luka in the draft. Bogi can’t shoot. Jalen got the bag and gave up on basketball. Our team sucks. We have no future. Dyson played a few decent games but he is trash.
How do you guys do it?
Everyone is ready for a developmental season until the developmental season happens lol. We’ve seen flashes of this team but we’re so damn young. People are giving kobe shit but he plays good defense and this is like his 45th NBA game. Bogi played basketball all summer and then got hurt, there’s no reason to think his shot won’t come back. Shit happens, this team is still gelling. If we’re ass in three months feel free to come at me but right now they’re still figuring out how all the pieces come together. I’m a little worried about Trae’s ankle, and we probably need some more shooting but we’re still in a good place long term IMO.
We’ve reached a point where I think the decision to have Trae play through his Achilles problem is very questionable.
I’m not an expert and maybe it doesn’t make much of a difference but we’re not exactly all-in, and while he still contributes positively it’s clearly impacting his speed and shooting. If letting Trae rest would speed up his recovery and/or significantly reduce the risk of inflaming the injury then we need to just bite the bullet and go without him for a bit imo.
Me: Hawks my birthday is tomorrow (well today) please get a W!
Hawks: best we can do is get blown out by 20+ points
But seriously, Warriors are really good. I didn’t really think we’d beat them. But I also didn’t think we’d look this bad. Trae officially needs to rest and get healthy, this version does nothing for us. We need him healthy. Other than that, watch the tape and try to learn from it and move on to the next. Thankfully the East is a shit show this year.
They ran us off the floor in the first and half and just chilled in the second half, pretty much the story of the game
Hawks only hope to save their season is to give Millie bobby brown season courtside tickets
Bro fuck warriors fans. I was at this game
My fiancée asks is this bigger than State Farm (we just moved here)
I look it up and say it only holds 1000 more
This guy at the game (by himself) turns around and says “at least it’s packed on a Wednesday against a shitty team”
All while I’m wearing a super red hawks hoodie
I’m not too worried about the loss itself as we were expected to lose. Sucks it was a blowout but whatever, one game on to the next. The more concerning thing is Traes health it’s pretty clear at this point he’s a step slow and is managing it
I’m glad I missed the game. Looks like I can cancel league pass early this year.
Thanks Tony!
Will never win a game when Hunter, Bogi, and Trae combine 2/19 from 3. Don’t matter who’s on the other side
You what’s annoying, if we had that lead the warriors had in the 3rd when it was hovering around 17 I’d have no doubt we would’ve let them comeback
