[James Boyd] #Colts third-string QB Sam Ehlinger on Anthony Richardson’s return: “I’m just so proud of him because he deserves it. He’s been put in a really unique situation, and he’s been given very unique gifts. I just want to see him be the best that he can be.”

Not sure why he isn’t the permanent QB2. He looked serviceable when he took Matt Ryan’s job.
Man. What a great teammate

Ehlinger is a class act.
Reminds me of Jim Sorgi, always having his QB back, helping him out all the time. Not going to be a starter but always there to help out the team.
Looks like we’re seeing a future coach in this league.
Need to keep him around. He’s a fine emergency QB.
That’s how you have a 10+ year career in the NFL right there. Good guy Sam!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Ehlinger. He reminded me of a poor man’s Tim Tebow at Texas

Smart kid.
If anyone asks why Slingin Sammy is on roster, send them this.
Hope we see Sam get a Jacoby-type opportunity (obviously not for us) and can go make a career out of being a solid backup.
I didn’t even think he was that bad when he did play so wish he wasn’t just relegated to our QB3 behind old man Flacco
Ehlinger really is awesome. Just a great guy and I’m glad to see him work with AR. Hope he has a long career getting a nice paycheck as a backup QB.
I’d run through a brick wall for that kid. So fucking wholesome.
Based Sam.
Cam Turner shaking in his boots, Sam is coming for his job.
“And I want to make millions holding his clipboard for the next 12 years.”
Hope he’s our backup for the long-term, hard worker and very smart. He cares more about helping Richardson than Flacco it seems.
His unique situation was that he was lazy and was immature? Sure I guess that’s unique I guess. Most NFL players are motivated to be the best they can be and AR wasn’t
