>Plan is for Filip Chytil to skate with the #NYR extras today after the team is done. He won’t be available to the media.
>No. 72 will speak when he’s closer to playing. I think that counts him out for playing tonight vs. Flames.
Good news it’s not a concussion, but it is an injury. Why would they even fly him out when they return Monday? I just don’t understand this team sometimes. We have the depth and we’re winning. Same reason I don’t understand starting Lindgren when he was in the bubble (or at all the way he’s playing). Let them rest at this point in the season if they’re hurt.
Kinda crazy to send him on a 5,000 mile round trip plane ride. If the doctors wanted to test his health in a pressurized cabin, send him from LGA to Atlanta and back. Otherwise what is the friggin point of this move? I have concerns about the medical staff of the Rangers.
I hope he will be with team but will not play in both Alberta games. Just to give him training practice be with others to be 100%sure he is ready to play back in MSG against Blues
So so happy it’s not another concussion for him. Really hoping they give him time to heal so that whatever he’s injured with doesn’t continue to plague him.
I mean, I think with the way the third line has been producing it makes sense to give him some more time off
