  1. The Lakers needed that third consistent scorer who could play defense and be consistent. The juries still out of course but this young man could be the missing piece. We will have to see what happens when the competition takes notice.

  2. This kid has guts. He has no conscience when it comes to shooting. If he has the ball, he will not hesitate to shoot which helps to keep his rhythm.

  3. Look at how young players talk about JJ and how they talked about Darvin Ham. Theres a level of respect there due to probably listening to hours of podcasts and new media of his. They respected him as an influencer and i'm sure there are a lot of young players not even in the NBA yet who would say they would want to play for JJ based on his reputation as an influencer. Makes you start thinking whether that will be a trend with relatively untraiined influencers who obviously know and play basketball but don't have coaching experience, having the type of the personality to be leaders for the new generation. I think the days of Pop being the gold standard of coaching are in the past.

  4. Lakers have the best scouts in the entire nba.

The last 10 years look at every player who left. They are all stars in their prespective teams.

Ingram, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Caruso, Zubac, Austin Reaves, and now Dalton.

N not to mention the other roll players that were first scouted by the lakers

  5. Hell yeah, just one player added to the team made them a chip contender. ADs 3 points thread is a new big improvement also. I thought this team is totally busted under Hams coaching.
