  1. I really like crochet but again I’d offer that deal or just about any other prospect package to Colorado for Tovar. I’d offer Waldrep or Baldwin, Alvarez, Braun or hackenberg, O Murphy or Ritchie, and one of Lara, baumann, de Avila, burkhalter.

  2. I have a hard time seeing the White Sox wanting Drake Baldwin, as they already have top 100 prospect Edgar Quero who's a bat first catcher like Baldwin, and Quero was in Triple A last year.

  3. What I don’t understand is why would the white Sox want our worse version of Korey Lee and colson Montgomery plus pitching they don’t need when they can go to the Red Sox and get wiler abreu (not close to correct spelling) and why would the Braves get rid of both our only position player prospects also “William contreous doesn’t count” 😭

  4. I think whoever the Braves get for pitching is going to be someone that makes you think "I forgot all about that guy. He used to be good.". Im not saying they are going to pull off another Chris Sale or Reynaldo Lopez type deal. But they are going to try. That's the type of guy they are going to go after.

  5. I think I keep my young pitching let them know that there's more mileage in our young pitchers , only way ,I make a trade is after spring training, your spending 💰 that you probably don't need unless you are getting a number 1 type post season type pitcher.

  6. Now at 19 minutes that trade of Elder and Hamines for Montgomery that would work because your only 5 million dollars up but its like turning a profit,Elder will never be a starter in Atlanta and the other reliever can't play for another year.

  7. Hackenburg will be the next Swallenbech as far as coming on all of a sudden. Trade AJSS, Elder, Vines, Dodd. I think Alvarez will start at short next spring if they don't trade for a shortstop or trade him

  8. I agree to go after Crochet with a vengeance. As you said, rarely have we missed a prospect shipped out in a trade. Also, I don't think any player in the Braves organization is untouchable. Some are desireable to keep around, but for the right deal, everyone should be in play. With all the injuries and "critical" players missing significant time last season, the Braves survived and made the playoffs. No such thing as an "Indispensable player."

  9. The two things that I think the Braves can't get Crochet one the Braves already dumped some players on the White Sox and they may not want to do that again and two so many teams out there can offer better guys

  10. Not really a fan of trading Drake Baldwin and here’s wine outside of Sean Murphy he is our best catcher and if something happens to Sean Murphy, he is our best back up option that we have where we do not have to go outside of the organization and have to give up more to acquire someone elseto play catcher witches challenge itself myself personally I would rather see us trade for Jordan Montgomery, because we would not have to give up such valuable prospects with a form system that is already ranked towards the bottom in baseball plus with Montgomery. He is more established and I think would be a better fit for our team.

  11. I like to get Crochet but I agree with you : Jake that it will be a three teams trade to get Crochet and I'm not sure AA will do that I also like Montgomery and between the two I think we should get Montgomery because it will make since to get Montgomery Rooker I like also and we and the A's made some trades in the past I think he will help us overall in the clubhouse and the outfield too Help the younger outfielders out

  12. Go for it. We can then compete with any team, even the Dodgers. Ouurr history of winning was with pitchers. We have a chance to have the best rotation in baseball thats perhaps 6 deep and with 2 top lefties.

  13. I'm all in on a deal for Crochet if we can get a deal done and have an extension in place as well to buy out his 2 arbitration eligible years. Perhaps Nacho, Waldrep, Perdomo and Hackenburg gets it done.

  14. I make that trade it’s perfect
In my opinion Hackenburg has was more potential than Ritchie

Hackenburg has like 5 pitches he can throw 96 He is groundout pitcher He and Schelly was my breakout players And both shine the next big time pitcher is Hackenburg

  15. I'm fine with your trade senario for G.Crochet.

I do like Baldwin (dude swing look smooth. 30hR watch.)

My (only) untouchable prospect is AJSS.

  16. I love the comment " get over yourself "… well said 😂 as I love the commentary on possible moves and why we should consider them. Great work as always!!

  17. I have no doubt Braves will make an impact trade this winter – either SS or starting pitcher. I really don't want to see Baldwin or Ritchie go, so maybe a 3 team trade could work if they landed Crochet.
I would fully support Garcia replacing Arcia since he's played SS in the MiLB and some in KC. Similar offensive production but far better tools and speed plus he's younger.

  18. Love the ideas, this is what I had in mind (note before the Soler deal happened)
Elder + complex flier for Geraldo Perdomo
Dylan Dodd + Darius Vines for Reid Detmers
Soler + cash for Bryce Miller or Bryan Woo

  19. Uff if the Sox take that package I make that deal in heart beat, he wants an extension, he is young and I do think he is going to be a top 10 Cy Young candidate for the next 4,5 years.
