1. To think Marchand and Montgomery’s convo on the bench was constructive is just plain wrong. Look at Montgomery literally turn away from Marchand and cross his arms lol. Guarantee he was saying some shit like act like a captain or play like a captain and Marchand taps his C like 👍 I am the captain. Body language says it all.

4. look at the drafting since Sweeney came in. This team has managed to hold out with proven players, but this was not going to last forever. Firing montgomery was a bad move. They need to look to leadership here, which is lacking.

17. It was the right move for Sweeney. The moves made in the off season were not enough to stop the Bruins decline to being a team fighting to make the playoffs this year. They will make make the 25-26 playoffs.

21. I think the Bruins are destined to have a bad season with how big they decided to go on the backend… that is a huge adjustment to chemistry and a lack of speed. Hate to say it, but you can't have great D when they are all huge. In no reality should McAvoy be the smallest D man back there. They probably jumped the gun on this firing, but whatever, it is what it is.

    I think the Bruins management took last year's overachievement as a sign they were still close to the top of the league, despite aging players and the loss of Krecji (sp?). They have definitely overpaid for Swayman based on that one good year, although I don't think losing Ullmark would have made any difference. He would probably be in the same boat.

    They're giving up too many shots, taking too many penalties, and their PK and PP stink on ice (literally).

    Definitely overpaid for Zadorov and not having Lindholm back there hurts.

    Coach always takes the fall for non-performing players.

24. Maybe Sweeney and Neely are the problem… No draft prospects since pasta, letting solid depth guys walk and bad signings.

    Meanwhile Montgomery has been really successful with the team. Now maybe he lost the room and we won't know that. Hope he goes and finds success, which he will.

26. Signing Swayman for anything more than 3-4m a year was a HUGE mistake. Hes not a starter.

    Hes an absolute teamplayer, i call this is not the cause
    He may be a factor but he is not responsible for his coach being fired
