    And I would love to keep Pete Alonso
    That's a super team if you add some pitching one player does not make a team .

  4. As a med stand, I’m not scared of shit! When it comes to money, I know uncle Stevie is going to write the biggest check! Not only that, the metal will pay him the most but the Mets had the better chance to win! If the Yankees signed him to a six or $700 million deal the rest of their off-season is done they are done that is it they’re gonna make some fringe signings! it’s confirmed that they said they sign that they’re gonna save it younger cheaper players in other positions.. the Mets wont Soto will be the beginning, not the end. He will be the first domino 2 fall they will be other players. The Mets will be going after big names after signing Soto Yankees won’t be

  7. Heads up when u said both teams were close but that the Mets have a lot of free agents. They planned it that way because 3 yrs ago they knew they were going after Soto this off season so specifically last off season they only signed players to 1 yr deals on purpose like Mannaea Severino JD Martinez Bader etc because they were going to restock with bigger names this off season. Soto is not the only big fish they’re hunting for. Supposedly they already offered Willy Adames 160 mill to play 3b and move Vientos to 1b or how ever that works out. Also Sasaki’s agent is supposed to be upset because everyone keeps saying he’s a Dodger and he said not so any team has a shot and if that’s the case don’t be surprised if the Mets pick him up also

The Yankees were the team that sought out soto when nobody was and they were strongly convinced about his ability and he had a great time and he was a fan favorite and he thrived his 1st Yankees season and in order to be considered as a great player and in the hall of fame being a Yankee is the only way you would be considered one of the greatest players of all time and that is a fact ❤

  19. No other major moves? The Yankees have no 3rd baseman, no 2nd baseman and no 1st baseman. Cole is getting older, Judge is going to be 33, their starting pitching is ok at best and not getting younger outside of Gil. Yankees need many pieces, Stanton got them there with his hot streak in addition to playing 2 weak teams in KC and Cleveland. The Yankees team was built to win in 24, they didn't.
