We were really close to a really ugly ending. Would’ve been tough to stomach. Best game of the season from Miller. Glad he’s seemed to have broken the slump and got the shot going. We’ll definitely need more of that from him.
Our back court is officially here 😎 (but holy hell please learn to close a game)
Greg Anthony on NBA TV said Miller reminds him of a more athletic Reggie Miller
Bless you Brandon. We live and die by your play
Brandon Miller tonight in OT win:
38 points (career high)
7 rebounds
4 assists
4 steals
15-26 FG
8-12 3PT
Yup. B Miller will be a better player than Prime Paul George
lamelo continues to commit the dumbest fouls
38 points with no free throws is impressive but also miller *needs* to be able to draw them
let’s figure out clutch time offense instead of aimlessly passing it around the perimeter until someone has to do something
Lamelo is better than Haliburton. Argue a wall
Somebody gotta tell Grant Williams he’s not the guy. No reason why he shouldn’t have passed to Brandon before the foul.
Brandon is absolutely cold when it’s time to hit those must hit shots is beautiful to watch him do that for our team vs having to watch another teams player do that for a change.
Diabaté not being in the game is the reason we almost lost. As soon as he comes back in the momentum shifts.
Moussa Diabate: Boardman WILL get paid
Holy hell do we need size ASAP. Can’t give up this many offensive rebounds, and need to be able to play inside out. Mark and Nick better be close
That was one stressful ass game 😅
Brandon Miller recovering from his early slump + another day owning the pistons, life is good sometimes
Can we have one game where it’s not stressful as hell? Thanks guys
I love seeing the Moose Unloosed
Great win. Should never have gone to OT but that’ll come.
I noticed when Melon was in foul trouble in the second half he was actually playing the exact kind of defense he needs to for the full game. Hands up, keeping his body in front, letting the help come when he got beat. Obviously he needs to do that more but seeing it happen at all is promising.
The Scoot fan boys are back in hiding before they even could start their agenda.
I love Brandon Miller
Can we manage games better please. I’m not trying to have a heart attack before 40.
SCRAPPY SCRAPPY SCRAPPY win, but a W is a W.
Career-high 38 for Brandon Miller. Way to step up with LaMelo fouling out. Happy Birthday king!
We saw the best and worst of LaMelo today. 35 points and some insane shot-making, but also some silly fouls leading to him leaving early paired with some questionable defense.
MOUSSA was huge in OT. Some really important boards (16!). While he can’t shoot yet, his defense and rebounding were the only reason why we had any semblance of scoring in OT.
The stat line won’t show it (the plus minus will), but LaMelo played a good game tonight. This should be a lesson to him that even 1 dumb foul can be the difference between him playing down the stretch or riding the bench. The rest of his fouls weren’t bad/shit happens. That’s why the Basketball Gods gave us 6 of them thangs. Hopefully he sees that and makes the adjustment. The second half defense he played is what he needs to do night in, night out.
And BMill? Man that kid is good. He’s Paul George before he snapped his ankle. He slithers across the lane like an eel and I love it. That kid can really play and be a two-way superstar. Future is so bright for him.
Hornets have a legit backcourt and with Mark or a starting level center with good hands they are gonna be a force. I’m excited for what Salaun could be too. He’s finally hitting his groove. The future is bright if we play it right. I see it for Queen City 😭😭
imagine we drafted Scoot instead 😂
so with all that being said how yall feelin about charles lee sittin melo now?
lamelo drove the mystery machine to work?

Lamelo Ball
Brandon Miller
Absolute Miller legacy game
Still so happy for Diabete getting the chance to prove himself before Mark and Nick get back. Hope he doesn’t get completely faded.
LaMelo getting back in to his bad fouly ways of his career. Really, really needs to fix that to take the superstar leap. Had the most fouls of any player in the first 5 games of season, recent games done the same thing inc. fouling out for a needed OT.
VERY impressed with our defense in the late 4th and OT. that brandon miller block or steal was sick, he’s got great game sense but just needs to be more consistent on average (not talking about today obviously he played incredibly). great game
Great job hanging on. There is still a lot for this team to figure out as they are all pretty inexperienced, coaching staff included. It won’t be pretty at times so we just have to get used to it. Brandon Miller showed the coaches what he can do with his overall scoring ability…now it’s just a matter of them figuring out how to design a better offense around that skillset.
The 4th quarter stagnant offense was annoying…they need to figure out how to move the ball around that does not rely on Melo or Miller going 1 vs. 5. We have shooters that defenses have to respect and they’re all capable passers too. You’d be surprised at what a quick pump-fake and drive can do to move the defense and then after a few extra passes, they can generate a much better look for someone.
So glad we took Miller over Scoot
