James Conner, Arizona Cardinals Run Game Must Dominate in Seattle Against Seahawks

Arizona Cardinals have shown throughout the 2024 NFL season that they can win in myriad ways. One game it’s James Conner and the rushing attack dominating and another it’s Kyler Murray, Trey McBride, and Marvin Harrison Jr dominating through the pass game. On Sunday in Seattle, though, the rush attack must instill their dominance against a Seattle Seahawks rush defense that has been below average this season. With the emergence of Trey Benson as a viable threat in the backfield alongside the Pro Bowler James Conner, a recipe of run all over the Seahawks could be on full display in Week 12.

The Arizona Cardinals must get after Geno Smith with some sort of pass rush, whether it be from their traditional pass rushers or something more exotic like from Kyzir White, Mack Wilson, Budda Baker, Garrett Williams, and/or Max Melton. If they’re able to get after Geno Smith and get home a couple times while pressuring him throughout the game, it’ll make his job of getting the ball to wide receivers DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Ngiba, and Tyler Lockett much more difficult.
