Winning tonight aside, this game was Cleveland Football, and it was beautiful.
I don’t care that we technically don’t have a winning record in adverse weather conditions, or we can’t hang on that “home field advantage”
I don’t care that the NFL won’t pick the current Browns stadium for a Super Bowl
I don’t care about the D3 D2 heck even the D1 tournaments the dome will attract.
I don’t care about the concerts, conventions or events the dome will attract.
I can’t imagine this could be one of the last moments like this at home for the Browns.
This game was football. If we have to get a dome at least let it stay downtown.
Oh and fuck the Steelers, Ravens, and Bengals.

100% agree, I was there. You don’t get that in a dome.
A game like this on the lake is what Cleveland football is! Anything else is taking away from the experience and damaging what it means to play football in Cleveland.
Fuck the haslams
Counterpoint: retractable roof open for all games, but closed for concerts, etc.
Snow games like this are one in a million. Usually it’s shitty wind and rain etc. if all bad weather games were like this then sure.
Weather games are cool when you win. Had we lost, this post would not exist. Domes are a better fan experience that attract a wider audience.
Fuck the Haslams and fuck a dome. Take the team and move it, we’ll get another one and we’ve been there before. Name them the bumfuck truck stop shills because that’s what you are. Tonight was Cleveland football
There is no reason!!! #nodome
AMEN! AFC north football is meant to be played outside!
Been to one dome — Tropicana field in St. Pete. Hated it. Sterile. Boring. Acoustics way off. Just didn’t feel right. But it’s prob more psychological than anything as I don’t mind watching basketball indoors.
Snow games are fun.
The walk across the bridge where footing is questionable at best is less fun however. Even worse so if you’re an amputee.
NO. Fucking dome. EVER!!
It’s not Browns football! Idgaf if you disagree!
I understand every reason why it “should” and probably will eventually happen… idc,
It’s. Not. BROWNS.
I watched this game with the snow coming down and thought….football is finally back. and felt like the world was perfect.
No dome, no dome, no dome
Everything I’ve read this morning mentioned how awesome it was watching a snow bowl. They are wonderful games to watch!
Cold snowy weather has always been a Browns thing. I second the no dome.
How many of you in here saying we don’t want a dome watched last night’s game from the warmth and comfort of your own homes?
Build the dome.
I am solely in the no dome group. You don’t get games and memories like that in a dome. I hope the snow showed some folks how fun games without a dome are.
I went to my first game against the Ratbirds and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with our current stadium. Things could be improved… it is out in the middle of nowhere, but tearing it down seems insane. Corporate greed is going to kill us all eventually
Everything you don’t care about are exactly the reasons to build the dome.
Football should be played outdoors. End of story.
Yeah I’m sorry but I’m 48, been to a bunch of games and I’m still team enclosed stadium. For every game like last night where we beat the Steelers there’s another game like 2-3 years ago where we lost to the saints in Christmas Eve in a blizzard. A game I went to and went to a w6 bar for the second half because I literally could not see the field because my glasses froze over. It was miserable and truly we had no advantage. I’m team fuck the haslams because they’re shitty people but I do agree with them on being team enclosed stadium.
For th 60,000+ fans at that stadium last night, that was a TRUE FOOTBALL experience like how football should be played.
I was there. I was partially inclined towards the dome. Now I DEFINITELY don’t want a dome. Because as long as the product on the field is good, the weather doesn’t matter. In fact, it makes the games absolutely iconic.
A retractable roof could totally work with that stadium design.
Why do ppl act like playing outside is some sort of badge of honor with football?
It’s cold and wet. Unless you’re a narwhal, that will never be better.
I don’t want a dome either. But winning that game makes it more romantic than it really is.
And Art Modell.
3-4 snow games in 25 years.
We dont have a winning record in any weather conditions
I used to like going to games. I’m a little older now. I worked a few miles away from the stadium during the game last night. It sucked out. I used to have season tickets but simply can’t justify going and watching in shitty weather. I want to go watch games again without having to wear 3 layers and bibs or having my beer turn to slush.
Also give me a muddy field.
You did a great job of outlining why we should build a dome stadium 🤣
The cool snow games are a few times a year.
Freezing in cold rain for 120 bucks is a crazy sell
Simple reason: If it’s 5 degrees hotter we have freezing rain all night instead.
Bills fan here. Fuck domes.
And I’m so happy for you guys. Dump Watson and get back to playing football please.
