  1. Yeah, Ryan can be a bit of headcase at times, but I gotta admit…. The dude led the J-E-T-S to back to back AFC Championships in 2009 and 2010 with frickin Mark Sanchez as his QB and did it beating Tom Brady!! That's the last time the Jets smelled the playoffs. Ryan is an old school defensive minded football coach just like his father was. He at least deserves some consideration for the job. The main problem with Ryan is the Jets need an offensive guru, not a defensive one. Rodney is probably right on this one. Ben Johnson would be a wise choice.

  2. I"m not a Jets' fan but if I was, I wouldn't want this loud mouth old dude back as the HC of the team. He's way too old and this team needs a young offensive mind to make them contenders again.

  3. Well.. he is washed, he rode daddy's playback and scheme as far as it would take him, otherwise he would still be coaching. He is undisciplined and has a circus for a locker room, honestly he fits perfectly for the jets.. just another clown.

  4. I don't understand why any organization, any analyst, any fan believes that Rex could be a successful head coach. He never has been. It's not like getting fatter and louder and richer behind a studio desk has made him more qualified . He was 61-66, made the Jets worse and Bills never got better. DC number's solid but puuuuhhhleeez. He's a blowhard who doesn't even make sense half the time behind the desk but that's what these desks are for.

  5. here's a funny one for you florio, Rex when he first came to the jets still had Brett Farve as his QB but only for a few days, His first pivot move was to try and trade the Ravens for backup QB Tyrod Taylor. all these years later you have him possibly walking in and losing a hall of fame QB as he walks in the door but have the option to get Tyrod who is only on a 1 year deal currently.

  6. Amazement–people will line up to have a few million thrown at them by a billionaire to be his whipping boy. It looks like the billionaire has destroyed more careers than he has helped by a mile. Condolences to the jets draft choices. They have no choice. They are drafted into servitude then blamed by ownership and New York media that THEY are not good enough.
