  1. You guys are looking at this like a good thing! I think it’s a bad thing, he played there for a full year and had no relationship with the owner? And then the owner says we didn’t want to ruin his routine? Soto could’ve said well you could’ve asked…. How do I know you’re not just saying that? Of course I’m speculating…. but what we do know about Steven Cohen is not only is the Mets gonna be a great team and he’s gonna offer him the most money Steve Cohen has a relationship with all his players

  10. It’s a matter of perspective, somehow Steinbrenner’s justification is not at all compelling. Afterall, he had a full year to make contact with Soto which reveals lack of interest.

  12. 100% would not pay $660 million for what's essentially a dh only lolol. Hype leading to this is out of control!
    Apparently my team's in (doubt it) but would be furious if our incompetent front office signed him when we have a generational player who cares & never wants to play anywhere else they haven't signed 🤬
