THESE TRADES WOULD FIX EVERYTHING For The New York Rangers…

Some of the biggest issues the New York Rangers have had so far this season have come from their lack of puck moving and poor defensive play by their defensemen. To fix that they need to trade for at least one defensemen at the NHL trade deadline and two of the Rangers top targets need to be Rasmus Andersson and Marcus Petterson who could make a huge impact on this team.

  1. This team really got exposed last night against Calgary in that first period. They can try to hide and mask the issues but they’re right there for EVERYONE to see. Crazy. Drury should be fired if he doesn’t fix it in the next two weeks.

  2. Every game is a free for all on our tendies, geting out shot by every team we play by a wide margin. Trades need to happen and happen by Christmas, this team as it is , is not a contender.

  3. The Rangers need to make a move now. Trouba and Lindgren are awful…too slow and out of position way too much. Miller is a big disappointment this year. Absolutely no physical presence, too indecisive with the puck and has become a turnover machine. Mancini should be playing over all three.

  4. No dispute here – but remaining questions are:
    Would one defenseman fix our problems?
    What would we have to give up?
    How do we motivate some other complacent underperformers?

  5. Something needs to happen really soon. We can't have 49 shots on goal and expect to win.
    Adam Fox and Rasmus Andersson pairing would be AWESOME, I also really like the Jones & Schneider line. Are there any prospects that could fill in the 3rd pair?

  6. I'm not a fan of deadline trades. Drury should make trades now while new acquisitions have more time to integrate with the team. Andersson would be my choice. Miller + might get it done but something has to be done. Giving up 49 shots last night was ridiculous!!!!!

  7. This team needs players that hit and are physical it’s sad that our most physical player is our captain. Everyone else coasts and reaches … TAKE THE BODY

  8. Why wait for the trade deadline? It’s stupid, you’ll overpay, and you’ll have less time with the player to mesh. If you’re going to do a trade do it before the deadline. Rangers need aggressive defensive defensemen. Puck movers are the reason they’re poor. Get guys who are a piece of shit to play against. Lindgren and Miller need to go. You can’t resign them, lindgren is accident prone and it’s beginning to catch up to him like Girardi. Miller is a winger, trade them for center prospects since the organization is so thin.

  9. Definitely need to upgrade the defense because defense wins championships… Lindgren is a liability at this point & Miller isn’t physical enough at all.. Drury needs to upgrade this defense now, do not wait till the deadline to grab someone..
