1. a month?!?!?? that's a 6th of the season and these men are paid millions.
   for my team 1-2 games for the birth of a child is expected.

   That Olympics stint was brutal and an early season break is good for Jokic and good for The Nuggets because they are a championship or bust team.

   Hopefully these non Jokic games will allow Coach Malone and Gm Booth to figure out if they have 8-10 solid postseason level rotation pieces or not.

   Right now i see seven(Jokic, Gordon, MPJ, CB, Murray, Russ, and Watson)

   I am not that high on: Saric, Strawther, Nnaji, and Jordan….as postseason level rotation pieces.

   Ideally a team would want a solid 8-10 postseason rotation pieces(8 is ideal but you need 2 more in case of injury or foul trouble)

   Can a true backup center be acquired using Zeke Nnaji's contract and a 2nd rd pick?

   Can Saric be waived and replaced by a better shooting guard than Strawther(Lonnie Walker)?

   I think Hunter Tyson and Julian Strawther can be used as those emergency rotation pieces in the event of injury or foul trouble.

   I think DeAndre Jordan is fine as an emergency backup center to the new backup.

   Even if it wasn't for the child birth, man deserves it for his back alone. How easily people forget the weight he carries over and over and NEVER disappoints. How many games thru injuries, he could've just decided it's time for surgery on that wrist bothering him for how long again?

   Think about nothing and noone Joker, your dues are already paid for upfront. And then some.

10. jokic is a basketball player and has a contract that pays him millions upon millions of dollars and has an entire offseason to take off. id understand a couple games for the birth of a child but 3 or 4 games? starting to get ridiculous. 5 or 6 games should be unacceptable in this context unless his child is unhealthy or something is going on that we dont know about. you cant compare the average person taking pto to the situation jokic is in. hes my favorite player. i love him. but hes being paid GENERATIONAL wealth to play a game. to take 5 hours out of his day at max to play a game. its not like hes working 8 or more hr days 5 days a week. and if you take into account the amount of time hes already been out. its time to get back on the court. i dont think thats unreasonable for fans to expect barring health issues on the part of his child or family members. if hes back tonight though. no harm no foul. but..its time. come at me in the replies i dont care.

    Besides that, I actually love listening to this podcast. You guys do great work, I don't hate the Nuggets, they're just another fun team to watch….

16. I absolutely agree tht Jokic has the right to keep the details of his time off private. However, as average people, we don’t get paid if we decide to miss a few days of work without a valid reason. I don’t think it should be any different for NBA players, especially given their multi-million-dollar contracts.

19. Whether Jokic plays or not is up to him, his family, the organization and what other circumstances are involved. My online rhetoric had been a bit entitled to it. He has a reason and it should be honored just like I would do with any other person. It would still be good for our team to learn to play together without them and I should keep faith in the rest of the crew. I don't mind reflecting on my own ignorance. I have a lot to think about I guess.
