Free agent tackle D.J. Humphries is signing with the Chiefs per Ian Rapoport,
Humphries’ deal is worth a max value of $4.5 million for the rest of the season.
The former Arizona Cardinals tackle has been medically cleared from an ACL injury he sustained last season.

Good deal. I've been disappointed in Morris and the Rookie. But I remember how long it took for Eric Fisher to become a great Tackle. So I try to give the young guys a pass.

Sadly, I disagree. I think Humphries is a pretty clean upgrade over Wanya and Kingsley. I know the PFF stats say otherwise, but I believe that not everything is reflected in stat columns. I know this is a ‘Hot Take’, which is fine. If he looks good off the ACL injury, he’ll be the starter by playoffs.
