It's absolutely insane how many people want him back. This isn't 2010. It's 2024. He is not fixing the team. He's been out of coaching for 8 years. He ended atrociously with the jets and bills to end his career. Why do so many jets fans seem so blind to what will help them? What's crazier is that the vast majority of fans want a good offensive mind. Rex is a defensive guy 😂😂 He also doesn't have cromartie and revis shutting down receivers. He will inherit sauce, who is God awful
I love the things Rex is saying. It feels good to hear someone say they want the job. But imo the Jets need to go get a GM first, then let the GM get the coach. The only coach that supercedes this is Mike Vrabel.

Rex inherited a good Jets team in 2009 and by the end of his term the team wasn't as good although Todd Bowls had a good first year with what he was handed.
We need an offensive minded HC. As much as I love RR’s passion he treats the offensive side of the game has an afterthought
if you hire Rex you wont be able to hire a serious GM with actual power. Cuz no serious GM would ever hire Rex Ryan in 2024 if its truly up to them.

I’m a Rams fan who grew up in Connecticut watching Giants and Jets on TV. Hire Rex, because he is a really good coach and the Jets is his team.
This exactly mirrors my beliefs about Rex Ryan. Players and fans love and respect him, and he has no baggage. He is everything the Jets need right now.

I wont rule him out, but the Jets need to find their head of football ops and gm first. Its important to get a singular vision of what this team is going to be. It rex aligns with that vision then im ok with it. My only rhing is i need him to takw a more ceo approach when it comes ro game management. Approach the game with the bigger picture in mins and understand the situational football that is on going.
There's no point to get excited at all… we're forgetting that Rex was terrible with the offensive side. That's Saleh all over again. Also, Rex coaches a different style of defense that the current doesn't fit his scheme. Rex is 3-4 guy. The jets have to get created to start trading away the edge guys. McDonald won't fit Rex system. Rodgers would have to stay, for Rex to be successful. Terrible with QB development. Rex just like saleh, Rex needed competent Offensive Coaching staff.

I've been watching this channel before Darnold got selected. I'm a rare long time Jets fan from Los Angeles who lives in Knoxville now. I was a USC fan who went to lots of games… started with Keyshawn, then Sanchez and said I will be all in and it was meant to be if they went Darnold a year before they drafted him and then it happened. Rex Ryan and that era was the best time I've enjoyed as a Jets fan even if they did Sanchez dirty. They gave him nothing. We need Rex Ryan and Rex needs us. We give Rex Time and guaranteed money over a period of time. We pay big for the coordinators especially on offense. Your show is one of the best football shows on YouTube and football is my #1. I watch more on the off-season about the draft and free agent signings since you cover it even better! If you didn't cover the Jets so well, I might have talked myself into being a Titans fan.

Going back to Ryan is indicative of the loser mentality that plagues this franchise. We’re looking back on history with rose colored glasses because it was the best we’ve had in so long. And guess what? STILL WASNT GOOD ENOUGH. Come on guys, we’ve seen this story.
