I find less and less to say in these post game threads. team disgust me and im tired and over it. Goodnight yall.
Love watching these bums get clowned on D every single possession
Aight bring back heliocentric Trae offense
If this is what “hawks DNA” is, then I think we are fucked
CAN WE GET A REAL CENTER
At least we got a vintage Capela performance guys 😁
Still rough to watch but I think we can still be a top 6 team
Middle of the pack offense with below average defense. Could not imagine a more unenjoyable form of basketball.
we’ve only outscored our opponents from the 3 pt line one time this season. not gonna win shit if you can’t hit 3s nor can u defend them (last in league opponent 3pt %)
I wanna see trae go for 50 every game, fuck this ball movement shit when no one can shoot a three to save their lives
Yeaaaaah guys have to start making their threes or this gets ugly.
i didn’t watch this one, but judging from everybody’s reaction i’m not gonna watch the next game either 😭
I’d rather be the worst offensive team in the league than continue to watch some of the worst team defense in the league year after year. It’s disgusting
We really gotta start running guys off the three point line. We can’t continue to give up wide open shots and just hope they miss. Its a talented league, nba players don’t often miss open ones.
Start Dre > Zacch
Still believe in Zaccharie’s development but the shooting in the starting lineup just isn’t there and since Dyson is our best defender, we need shooting at the SF position. Zacch a good defender but just not impactful enough to start yet. We gotta space the floor for Trae and Jalen. They see crowds every time they get the ball.
NBA is all about 3’s now and we can’t hit anything
I really hope the coaches and players realize that this is actually statistically the worst 3pt defending team of all time thus far in terms of both efficiency AND quantity. Embarrassing as hell.
That 4th quarter is the Hawks team I envisioned offensively. Hopefully Trae’s aggressive play carries over into next game.
With that said, giving up damn near 140 points to this average Bulls team is inexcusable. That falls on Snyder’s scheme of protecting the paint first. It’s outdated and has to change
BULLS SHOT 57/44/90 !
One day this organization will figure out that modern NBA is won beyond the arc. This applies to both the offense and defense ends. Taking +20 shots more than your opponent and still losing the 3pt battle by 9 shot attempts means we continue to stink on the arc.
Garbage effort, garbage coaching, garbage team
I thought the whole point of Kyle Korver working for the hawks was so we can get better from 3? What the hell happened??
“Just wait until this team gets healthy” – me 🤡🤡
Watching this Nuggets game to remember what good basketball looks like
Btw OO is on THIN ice with me. 5th year in the league and he’s regressed by a lot while already not showcasing any belief into being a starting caliber Center. How are you getting outplayed by Jalen Smith???
Risacher getting 16 minutes in a blowout loss should automatically put Snyder on the hot seat.
It’s different if it’s a close game, but he has to play in these types of games. Snyder gonna ruin his confidence
Need that 4th quarter intensity in every game, if they’d started playing like that from the 3rd quarter, we’d have won the game.
Okongwu in Year 5 and I can’t confidently point to anything that he’s better at than he was as a rookie.
Bob always predicts the game at the outset with the opposite of whatever he highlights – “Chicago has not played well at home…” feel like it’s been more prominent on fan fuel network
There’s NOLA Dyson, 1/10 from inside the arc is diabolical
Say what yall will about Nate, but they weren’t nearly this bad defensively with him at the helm and we had worse defenders then. The offense is gonna be good as long as we have Trae, but Synder hasn’t gotten this team to even decent defensively
Snyder wants to “develop” players. If we’re developing then I want to see Zac’s minutes go up, not down. Snyder, tbh, hasn’t been the HC I hoped he would be. His rotations don’t make sense. The team isn’t any better today than it was with Nate. There is no growth
Bogi and Nance should have played more, I don’t know about these lineups Snyder throwing out here
Snyder has been so much worse than Nate. The team has been dog shit since he took over
But I was told when healthy this team was gonna be a playoff threat???
Looooool
lets be real quins rotations are trash and neither help us develop or win games
I have no answers, only an increasing number of questions.
We should move Okongwu before teams start paying attention and he still has value.
The 3 point defense is abysmal. I was watching at the game and guys looked so confused on rotations constantly. OO looked very out of it, didn’t see nearly enough energy from him this game. I also think Dyson is scared to shoot the ball. He missed a lot of open bunnies at the rim and usually that just means you aren’t confident in the shot before you take it. Nance needs to start getting minutes consistently and eating into OOs minutes.
Nance should have gotten half of Risacher’s minutes and Dyson needs to solve or get steals. He can’t do neither.
Oh what a surprise. Well, to you all it is. What’s the excuse this game?
Simple, Dyson can’t go 3-14. If he makes 11 of 14 then that’s another 16 pts. Trae looks injured. Should sit him until he’s healthy, if hurt.
Somehow we get worse the healthier we get. I know teams are trapping Trae and doubling him but he seems to be not wanting to take over games like he used to when no one else was on. Maybe this has something to do with that statement that the Hawks put out recently and they’re just trying to get some kind of identity for the team and him playing this way is to allow other players a chance to show their place on the team. Hopefully he’s all right and I will say that with other teams doubling and trapping him other guys have to step up and they just haven’t been doing it. One other thing I’ve noticed is the team as a whole is missing way to many bunnies like a concerning amount and the turnovers are way to high and a lot of them are on just stupid decisions where the player tries to make ridiculously tough passes when it’s not necessary. Just my thoughts maybe they’re working on something
Hawks are trying to develop into an efficient 3-point shooting team but the issue is they’re not efficient. Every game I’ve watched I’ve seen them miss a LOT of 3’s and it’s the reason they lose their games.
They move the ball a lot and play better defense, but it has stifled the offense in a way where they can’t get into a rhythm.
I wanted Trae Young to tone down his offense for the sake of being able to give this team an offensive identity that isn’t built on him taking 30 shots a game. But, it seems we don’t have the players to generate offense game-in and game-out. It’s been frustrating to watch them offensively.
I could only be a box score boy today which is annoying because no qtr on paper is an obvious fast forward when I watch the replay. Sigh.
Another Trae masterclass. If he’s seriously hurt, he must rest lol. I feel like that’s more of an excuse at this point. He’s not Curry and at this point: he plays more like Westbrook/Harden (at their old ages). If Dyson struggles at all, they get blown out. What a mess.
Yall still think we were “just a Bogi and Hunter away” from being a good team? This entire regime is fucking cooked all the way to the owner
At a certain point it’s a Trae Young problem, he doesn’t want to here… denial isn’t the solution. Accept it for what it is.
Anyone understand why they keep drawing up plays where Okongwu is taking a corner 3? Like in whose mind is that a good idea?
Everyone knows he’s a below avg shooter, they’re just giving more leverage to the help defender guarding him.
If they’re just trying to boost his confidence and develop him as a perimeter player, something just doesn’t seem right.
Last year, it seemed like he was on a trajectory to get better as a perimeter player. He shot 33% on 1.3 attempts. This year he’s shooting 22% of almost 2 attempts a game.
I think there should’ve been more off-season work, especially with the shooting. He’s in year 5 now, the shooting is far from what you’d ideally want from him.
