I am super fucking gutted about this, not only because I can’t wear it anymore but because India was honestly my favorite player. I hope the Royals take good care of him though…

  1. >because I can’t wear it anymore

    Why not?

I don’t get why people feel a stigma against wearing gear with traded/no longer active players. I feel like it’s a consumerism trick, perpetuated by vein people & collectors, so people feel the need to keep buying “updated gear.”

My only Reds gear with a name is Votto. My only Sabres gear (favorite hockey team) with player names is Hasek (retired) and Jeanneret (their lifelong play by play guy for 51 years who passed away).

India is/was a fan favorite, always gave the team his all, no reason you can’t wear that jersey any longer.

  2. I’m bummed too, but this is a forever jersey. If anything, rocking a jersey like this just shows you’re a real Reds fan

  3. Okay after a few comments, I’m still gonna wear this jersey to all the 2025 reds games I go to

  4. Why can’t you still wear it? I would my Votto one when he got signed in Toronto. Guys don’t stay on the same team forever very often anymore. I mean everyone that has an Elly jersey will be in the same situation in a handful of years for example.

    Wear it with pride man

  5. I wil wear my Votto forever with pride. Wear India! Dont be sad that he’s gone, smile because it happened lol

  6. That purchase was like buying Doge coin a week ago.

Sorry for our loss, you can still wear it and remember the good times.

  7. Obscure jerseys always indicates someone who knows ball to me lol. Everone’s got a Votto or EDLC jersey. But let me see some Eugenio Suarez, Adam Duval, or Luis Castillo jerseys

  8. I have this jersey. Gonna wear it like he’s still here. Actually like seeing a variety of different players and not the same Rose, Votto, Larkin, etc. besides he was NL ROY here. That’s a tier above. Hell, I have some Puig jerseys I got bc he fought the Pirates.

  9. This is why I only buy from DHgate and places like that. The quality is usually the same.

I also hate to see India go. I think its a mistake to move off him. He’s a spark plug kind of guy.

But at least we got a pitcher with the tag “durable”. So hopefully it works out for everyone involved.

  10. India was a Reds player who loved this city. You can wear this for literally forever for any Reds game you attend. India will always be a Red and a fan favorite.

  11. OP this is a win, you have a jersey of a guy who was a Red inside and out.

I wear my Brandon Phillips jersey and my Votto jersey all the time.

No real fans are going to ever think this is anything but a W jersey.

Understand your upset about the trade but once that fades having this is still bad ass!

  12. Every Reds game I go to I wear my Brandon Phillips jersey. But it’s the only jersey I have. I do have an Adam Duvall t-shirt that I will wear sometimes.

  13. If it makes you feel any better I bought jerseys for Stubbs, Hamilton, and Bruce within the year they left the team. Now I just wear a Larkin or Griffey jersey.

  14. I don’t understand this thinking. Wearing the jersey of a former player just shows you didn’t become a fan yesterday.
