Here’s the media excuse “you see Jokic came back to try to help his team in the tournament” Giannis is slept on too much by media since he stays with Milwaukee.
Looks like 3rd team all nba to me
I just checked Basketball Reference MVP TRACKER and it has Giannis in 6th place. One glaring issue I see is it doesn’t have Jokic listed at all. He has got to be the favorite with his Gaudy stats.
Giannis lowkey should have at least 3 MVP by now. There’s even an argument for 4.
Don’t have your hopes up. Last year he was way better than in both of his mvp years, still landed him 4th in the mvp race.
IMO it’s Jokic vs Shai this year. Jokic would deserve it but probably Shai wins it, giannis would somehow end up an afterthought … again. He will end up remembered as the only guy to finish with multiple 30-12-6 seasons on high efficiency and never win anything in those seasons (as far as personal accolades go).

I honestly thought this dude was starting to fall off just a bit, but if anything he looks stronger than ever. I think his athleticism is declining a bit, but his strength is really impressive.
STG if Jokic were putting up the stats Giannis had these past 5 games we’d be subjected to “Is Jokic better than Jordan?” discourse.
It’s hard to comprehend just how much better Giannis is now than he was 5 years ago.
