1. Where's this potential at? He came in at 18 as a bad defender that can rebound and catch oops. 2 years later that's exactly what he still is, 0 improvement, maybe even got worse

2. The age excuse is low hanging fruit. Its easy to use, its lazy. Fans don't want to say he isn't progressing. Fans would be hard-pressed to say where his game has improved. Fans who use Middleton & Dinwiddie as a example, they don't say the situations were completely different. They weren't given playing time, so we never saw what they could be

3. It’s telling us that he hasn’t worked on his defense in the summer and he has likely gotten worse. Organization is done spoon feeding him.

4. It's hard to say with Duren.

   He could either be good or another Amir Johnson for the Pistons.

   I remember a long time ago when Pistons had a chance to land Amar'e Stoudemire for Amir Johnson, but Pistons didn't make the deal because they got suckered by Amir's potential!

   I hope Pistons don't make the same mistake with Duren if a team offers some type of upgrade.

   Pistons should make the move.
