  2. You've got a tough gig, like Peter Pratt had over at Locked On Marlins. The fan bases are surly, but we know the MLB pendulum always swings back. Maybe our two fan bases can console ourselves that we're building character! Have a pleasant weekend.

  4. Yes, A V is a replacement level player. What is sad is that he is still one of the best Sox players. Sheets should go before Vaughn. The offense needs to come from a Crochet trade. Benny to see some DH time if he’s still on the team.

  6. When you know and aware of your ceiling… it’s smart to be aggressive and get your top target. Smart move, not ideal for fans, but knowing where you stand and playing within your limits aggressively is a good play on its own level

  7. Smart strategy to sign low and cheap, develop in house with sweat equity, and then trade for value or have players play better than price acquired at!! Slater hopefully increases value in season

  8. Get rid of those 2 and get younger guys to develop… I like the plan now of rebuild but it’s only going to work if Sox will pay contracts out in a few years

  11. I'm excited for the Slater, Fletcher platoon for the time being. The top target thing doesn't bother me. He could've been the top at the moment. The next guy will be the top too. Smoke is blown in all negotiations.
