SPJ career high
My SPJ > Tyus takes from summer league are aging like the finest wine.
10 wins
Long home stand of winnable games upcoming
12 should be returning during the home stand
Do I smell hot stretch?
jaylen wells is the future of this team
This team would be talked about as one of if not the best in the league without those inexplicable 3-4 losses to the Nets Bulls etc
They are elite in almost every metric aside from those games. Crazy to see
Jaylen Wells deserves to stay in the starting lineup.
Jaylen Wells tonight:
26 PTS
6 3PM
6 AST
4 REB
+10
This is the ROTY. Wells also plays DEFENSE!!!
Wells looked amazing tonight
My Wells ROTY agenda push will striving today lets gooo.
I understand why people want him gone and him to not play many minutes but man I just love to see Clarke doing well every now and then, one of the players I want the most to succeed
8 players in double digits. Cant complain about rotations when everybody is awesome
Sometimes the three point line is a mistake. Sometimes the three point line is not a mistake. Science nor religion nor dark magick can explain why.
Jaylen Wells tho. Kid is an absolute steal. Hopefully we get healthy at the wings as he might start to hit a rookie wall, but he’s been nothing short of awesome multiple nights so far
I’m buying a Jaylen Wells Jersey holy shit.
Shout out to Jayl3n W3lls!! Shout out to Pippen Ain’t Easy with a career high! Shout out to Jaren for holding it down when we needed it most. We also tied a season high 38 assists total as a team! Big time team win on the road. We Grit. We Grind. 💪🏾
Scotty’s calling me. Scotty beam me up!!! I want to fly. Geeked up 🕊️🏀 – Fabo, D4L

scotty pippen jr
Jaylen Wells rookie of the year 💪🏾🙏🏾🏀 He’s coming for you McCain, mane
This is not even our best team
Not really digging playing Cam Spencer over Jitty but whatever. Hopefully Cam can use these minutes to build some confidence which seems to be lacking so far.
very happy with the team today. Bane had a bit of an off game but I hope nobody bullies him for it. I know he’s going to average like 20 ppg on 80% true shooting when he starts getting back into games. I believe in this team
Lakers really gave up SPJ and Huff. LOL
Trade smart, he’ll become disgruntled with a bench role and we’re not better off starting a guy who has Dillon brooks tendencies
**POSTGAME STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS**
**• RotY is Jaylen’s for the taking**
McCain who? Fuck that guy; it’s all about my boy Jaylen. They took away one of his threes and he said *”OH? I GOT A TRICK FOR YOU IMMA MAKE ANOTHER ONE BANGO.”* Could he keep LaVine from scoring 29 points? Could **anyone** stop him from scoring 29 points? The point total of a marquee players like LaVine shouldn’t be the yardstick for a rookie like Wells; it was enough that he just stayed in front of him.
Speaking of rookies staying in front of people…
**• Cam is getting used to the NBA game and there are good signs**
He doesn’t look amazing out there but he doesn’t look bad. There are places where you can tell he needs to improve and they’re places that he **can** improve. He definitely got burned a few times on defense but it’s more of a timing thing that he’ll get used to with time. Jake LaRavia and Vince were getting burned their rookie seasons as well but experience taught them how to better defend. Jaylen’s an extremely fast learner and I think he spoils us; I’m willing to be patient with Cam.
The good thing is he’s a steady hand in distributing the ball, he looks for people who are open and off ball he moves well; there were several times when he was wide the fuck open and they just didn’t pass it to him. That’ll come with time.
**• Goddamn the Lakers are stupid for not locking down Scotty Pippen, Jr.**
YOUR LOSS, SUCKERS. If we’re not winning in the 2nd round of the draft, we’re killing it with our undrafted two-way conversions. Career night for SPjr on a double-double and you love to see it. Ja Morant is out and he’s handled running the offense capably. You love to see it.
**• You know how people were like** ***”Smart misses everything. Trade him.”*****???**
Well, with Bane, we can see that that is just something that good shooters go through. You don’t trade a guy who can make shots simply because they’re in a slump. They simply have to shoot out of it and that takes time. Smart is obviously not the caliber of shooter as Desmond Bane; just saying it to make a point. Players go through slumps and you don’t trade them based on that. You trade them because they’re a bad fit for where you want to go with your team and they’re more valuable as a trade asset. Bane is going to shoot his way out of his slump, hopefully facilitation and driving for baskets along the way.
Smart? He just doesn’t really fit the rotation…
**• OKAY FINE… Brandon Clarke had a good game. UGH.**
Obviously, it personally offends me to concede that because I basically believed he was washed and useless with less height on his vertical. That’s not the case. He stopped chucking threes and focused more on the things he actually can do. There’s a place for a guy who can make 100% of his shots in the paint and take down 8 boards. He even looked really good on defense. I accused him of being an unremarkable defender and he proved me wrong. I’m not to proud to admit that.
I’d still trade him though. We can do better with the money he’s earning. But I can still admit when he has a good game.
**• Notice who didn’t play?**
Jitty.
This would typically be a game that he’d get minutes in as a stopper against Colby White or Zach LaVine. But that responsibility went to Jaylen & Jake and that’s even with Smart and Vince being out. It’s just one game but it’s significant to consider the context. Doesn’t mean he’ll be traded tomorrow, it’s just something to keep an eye on.
