I miss Friday night Knicks
Terrible offense,terrible defense.
The defense is horrible man. We gotta get it together
We should not be losing to bottom feeding teams that’re 3-12 full stop.
Absolutely pathetic showing by our starters tonight except OG
People excusing away a game like this are fucking clowns. This is supposed to be a team challenges for the chip. They can’t even play good enough D to beat one of the worst teams in the leagues and just gave up 121.
You got your fucking head in the sand if you can’t see this is a problem.
Fuck your it’s early BS.
Our starting lineup coming into this game has a 118.0 defensive rating which would be 27th in the league. Love how good we are offensively, but on nights that we struggle, it’s going to be very difficult to win.
Very disappointing effort after what happened last game
Combined 3/18 from 3 for Brunson and KAT is disgusting
Allowing >50% from 3 and the field is disgusting
Going on a 17-0 run and losing by 15 is disgusting
I am sad
Man we badly miss Mitch.
KAT wants to play PF and stay on the perimeter a lot. As a result, we have mostly lost our offensive rebounding which was a huge part of our identity.
Also our paint has a red carpet attached to it, just no presence.
Wonder what Bridges trade value looks like now /s
An embarrassing performance.
Defensively, the same problems continue. Wide open 3s and bad rim protection.
Offensively, I don’t even know what to say because everyone was bricking except OG. We have the best starting 5 offensively, this won’t happen frequently. At least Sims had his moments, he contributed to those few runs.
Happy to see Thibs benched Mikal in favor of Payne, ever since the missed alley oop by Mikal, we never recovered.
the book is out on Thibs teams. Just spam threes, we won’t close out on shooters.
How many teams gonna win against this team having “unreal shooting nights” before the perimeter defense gets better
mikal needs to attack the rim more man.. fast break advantage and he’s taking pull up 3s from the top of the key and I always feel like he’s rushing to hit those
Knicks last couple of “wins”
• Almost blew a 20+ lead to the Nets
• Another dogfight with the Nets
• Blowout against the Wizards who employ Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole
• Give up 120+ points against the Suns without Beal and KD.
Maybe I’m being too harsh. But I expect better from this team. Maybe Mitchell Robinson and Precious Achiuwa fix the defense, but this is a bigger problem. And don’t even get me started on Mr. Five First Round Picks. A couple of good games doesn’t change how MID he has been this season. Those picks could’ve been used for something more productive.
9-7 isn’t the worst record 16 games in, but our upcoming schedule has us facing decent teams instead of bottom feeders. Let’s see how truly legit this team actually is, or if we should start to ring in siren bells.
when mikal isn’t dying on screens he’s bricking pull up threes and missing dunks to go 3-15 and losing us all of the momentum
Almost 20 games and Mikal Bridges still a big problem.
we traded 5 firsts for mikal just for cam payne to close out this game over him

our defense is softer that a roll of tp.
Yeah yeah, the team is still gelling etc, whatever.
I think it’s time for everyone to start admitting that, while that might be true, this team has serious issues. We aren’t just underperforming, we are literally doing a complete 180 of what we were expected to do. It’s hard to watch.
I was not a fan of the Mikal trade. Everyone here was saying the vibes were gonna be immaculate and chemistry>5 picks but here we are….
After today’s game, Mikal Bridges has only shot 11 FT’s the entire year. His drives per game has went down from 11 to 5.5. His lack of physicality and playing with force on both sides of the ball have been disappointing.
The “it’s early!” excuse is getting old. Defense HAS to be better. That was pathetic. This isn’t dooming, this is called being critical, rightfully so after getting blown out by a fucking 3-12 team. Some of yall need to stop being so defensive of the team. We have a right to be genuinely concerned right now
congrats to the commenter earlier claiming this would be a “scrimmage”
Hey, great news guys….Bridges s gonna give us a discount too!
Best loss of the season!! Couldn’t have looked worse if we tried
The Knicks lose to one of the worst teams in the NBA. Not good.
wtf was this game .
