  1. I can’t wait until we’re good again and can just beat the islanders 4-1 and send them to go play their boring hockey somewhere else

  2. Before the season, I tried to mentally prepare for this…but watching those line combinations is a whole different level of preparation that I did not do.

  3. Bannister needs to be held accountable for the lack of net front, shooting and directness. It’s ok guys we beat the sharks in a shootout everything is fine.

  4. To the people screaming to fire Bannister….what exactly do you expect that to do? This team has no soul. No heart. We’re just aimlessly drifting in open waters and we lack key components of success in our lineup. A new coach won’t fix that magically.

  5. Would be some real Blues shit to get the No. 1 pick right after the Bedard and Cellebrini years.

  6. I have a question because I’m not familiar with the prospects but the “re-tool” is supposed to bear fruit in the next year or two. Are the prospects we have coming + Brobergs return going to make a big enough difference? This team just looks completely out classed from a skill position all over the ice except goalie.

  7. On a Good Note…Snuggy had a 3 point night, Scored twice for his 48th, And 49th career goal with the Golden Gophers in a series sweep over Notre Dame.

Rooting for Him and would love to see him fulfill his dreams to Bring a NCAAH Championship home before we lock him up 🙂

  8. The problem this year is the same as the problem last year. We have one legitimate top line player (Thomas), two second liners (buchnevich and Kyrou) and then a lineup of third liners. Neighbours isn’t there yet, so by my count we’re three legitimate top six forwards away from being a respectable team. Firing bannister will change nothing.

  9. Nothing come easy to this team; it’s like they’re their own worst enemy even during the greatest opportunities

  10. Let’s begin the prospect roundup with **Jimmy Snuggs**, who went all Sopranos on Notre Dame in #3 Minnesota’s 5-3 win. His nasty snipe put UMinn up 2-1 early in the 2nd, and a few moments later he hunted down a rebound to give them a 3-1 lead. He would also get an assist on their eventual winning goal. Snuggerud had 4 SOG and was a +1. He now has five multi-point games in their last six games, and six in their last eight.

Snuggerud now leads the Golden Gophers in points, SOG and GWG. He also stands tied for 3rd in NCAA hockey in points, 2nd in SOG and 3rd in individal xG. I think we have another Hobey Baker finalist on our hands this season.

    – **Juraj Pekarcik** scored the first goal and later added the ENG, with an assist in between, as 1st place Moncton won 5-3. He had 5 SOG and was a +3. Pekarcik now has a seven-game point streak (4g 6a).

    – **Theo Lindstein** had 3 SOG in 8:34 as incredible Cinderalla story Brynas grabbed 1st place by one goal in differential thanks to a 4-0 blanking.

    – **Otto Stenberg** had 2 hits, 2 SOG and a -1 in Malmo’s 3-0 loss. This dumb coach has him on the 4th line now, but he still plays more than half their forwards. Make it make sense. Is Bannister moonlighting in Sweden behind our backs?

    – **Tomas Mrsic** posted an assist, 7 SOG and a +2 as Prince Albert Raiders cruised 5-0. Those bastards are suddenly 5-0-1 in their last six, and above .500 for the first time all season.

    – **Colin Ralph** had 2 SOG as #12 St. Cloud State lost 1-0 in OT.

    – **Quinton Burns** had 2 SOG in 1st place Kingston’s 4-1 win over an Adam Jiricek-less Brantford.

    – **Antoine Dorion** had 4 SOG and won 12 of 23 draws in Quebec’s 6-1 loss. He was one of only three Quebec players not to be a minus.

    – **Matthew Mayich** was a -2 and took a roughing pen that led to a 5v3 PPG against in Ottawa 67s 6-3 defeat.

Finally, Springfield have suddenly won four straight following a 4-2 win.

    – **Dalibor Dvorsky** had an assist and a +1. He’s tied for the team lead in scoring.

    – **Colten Ellis** made 31 saves. He’s won four of his last six, and his save % is up to .921.

    – **Tyler Tucker** had an assist and a +1. Since returning from injury he has 3 points and a +5 in four games. He’s also wearing an A.

    – **Marcus Sylvegard** scored his team high 7th of the season. He has 5g 2a +5 in his last six games.

    – **Nikita Alexandrov** had an assist and a +3, giving him the team lead in that category with +8. He has 4g 6a +5 in his last nine games.

    – **Leo Loof** had two assists and a +2. He has four assists and a +4 in his last four games.

  11. When Suter (who took a pen, mind you) plays almost a minute more than Colt, your coach is fucking idiot. Every damn game, regardless of the score or situation, he shaves down to three lines and (essentially) two pairings.

    Fucking. Idiot.

  12. I know there’s not a lot to love out there tonight but I think we need to ice the irritation on this one. We had some pretty great chances but Sorokin came up big several times tonight.

  13. In the post game interview Buch was not happy and saying that they never practice offense only defense, you could tell he’s pissed with the coaching.
