They’re just the perfect team to exploit every one of our weaknesses. The scheme and willingness of their players to clog up and help in the paint while having good recovery speed forces AD into jumpers or tough paint shots and Bron into turnovers on kick outs. Their offense forces our perimeter defenders to chase perfectly around screens, which they obviously can’t handle, and gives them open 3s and cuts constantly. Meanwhile our only effective help defender, AD, is stuck having to stay out on Jokic.
In addition to our Nuggets specific issues, we still have the years old issue of things not going our way for a few minutes and immediately everyone is moving in mud and putting their head down letting things spiral out of control. Somebody has to be the guy to inject some energy and hustle into this team when things aren’t going well, and they don’t seem to be on the roster currently.

This team’s transition defense is so nauseating to watch. No effort and no awareness. It’s in the team’s DNA and it starts at the top with Lebron&AD.
just an unacceptable loss. 2 games in a row where we should’ve set the tone and not let off the gas to only get sloppy and disinterested
I forgot how unhappy this team makes me. Thanks for the reminder, back to getting to bed on time
The Nuggets were on a back to back BTW. 🤡🤡🤡
Max Christie with the garbage time 3-pointer 😂
Bro wtf happened ? We shouldn’t wear Sunday jerseys on Saturday night home games anymore
The LA Traffic Cones.. this sub has been blaming Rui on D and forget about the others, keep in mind the lead got even bigger when he went out..
We were leading 65-66 in the third.
LeBron lost the ball 3 times and Austin loses it once, we go down 81-71.
Embarrassing effort from Bron and the team in the third
Depressing as fuck.
damn getting outscored 70-39 in the 2nd half is nasty
Disgusting but predicable loss. The team truly does not believe they can beat Denver and it shows with every single second half collapse.
There comes a point where it simply is what it is. Just can’t beat these guys no matter what, nothing more to it.
And no, I don’t know what moves we could even make with our assets, or how much that could possibly help us against Denver. Like I said, doesn’t matter who’s out for them, or who’s playing well. They’re going to beat us, and we gotta accept it and move on imo.
Can’t believe we choked away that game yesterday. This loss wouldn’t sting as much.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a quarter worse than that 3rd. If the last game sent JJ into a dark place, he’s gonna launch himself into a black hole after this one.
Aint even mad anymore. But our third highest payed player named Russell has been delegated to a bench role, second time now. We still can’t beat the nuggets, everything is repeating itself. This is insanity
Death, taxes and a Lakers 3rd quarter collapse against Denver
On a positive note, Ohtani unanimous MVP.
Cant win with AD playing like a fat pussy
I missed when Dario Saric was on the court
Of course Russ does this to us. Why not. 🤦🏽♂️
Don’t trick yourselves into believing Rob will make a meaningful trade.
Stopped watching at the half. Glad I did. Looks like I didn’t miss anything but aggravation.
How is it that every decent team can make adjustments at half time to punish us so severely?
Not even that mad at the loss itself. More so mad at our lack of energy and effort more than anything
This team isn’t good enough for AD or Lebron to not show up offensively every game like in 2023.
This team has the worst defense of “contenders” in the league, tanking teams have better defensive ratings which is laughable. It’s offense or nothing for this team and tonight it was nothing. Don’t even think a trade can save this roster.
This team isn’t anywhere good enough. It’s not on JJ, the team’s roster just is not a championship team. Rob pelinka is a bitch for wasting 3+ years of bron and AD
Bron should get a share of the blame for this recent skid, can’t make free throws and his turnovers this game were atrocious. One of the worst team games I’ve seen in 30+ plus years watching lake show.
AD will never be MVP because he doesn’t have that dog in him. Why was he so scared of Jokic? Was it because he had to be physical for once? Because he didn’t have a significant talent advantage over him? WTF was that?
Different year, same result. The Lakers play Denver tough, and then Denver plays a herculean quarter on offense and defense and completely wipes us out of the game. Then, they go back into cruise control and smirk as we do nothing.
Darvin was part of the problem, but so is this roster. It’s the last constant from those epic failures vs Denver. We’ve now lost 2 straight games where the opponent was playing the 2nd night of a back-to-back.
On the plus side Vincent didn’t lay eggs this game and actually has some stats to go with elite 11M a year cardio
Everytime we play the nuggets it becomes clear that this team DESPERATELY needs a 3 and D player.
