Do Commanders Fans Still Feel Optimistic On Kingsbury After Losing Streak?

The Commanders are on their first losing streak of the year after losses to the Steelers and Eagles, but Commanders fans still haven’t lost faith. Despite the offense not performing at the scorching levels it did earlier in the season, fans still have faith in Kliff Kingsbury…at least according to the comments.

  1. This is all about Jadyen Daniels health. It is his health that will make or break the team. His ability to really play his game is THE difference maker this season. It will be a tight window to playoffs if he is just a "pocket passer" rest of season. #HTTC

  2. What? We never lost two games in a row before? It would be ridiculous to give up on KK or JD after these two close losses to good teams. Like someone else said, with a healthy JD, we likely win both games. And I don't care what the coaches say, JD has not been his normal self. He is not able to put his body into his throws; hence he is throwing with all arm strength, which is why his throws are falling short on occasion and why he does not even try to throw deep. I don't know if his injury can completely heal before the season is over. We shall see on Sunday.

  3. I know it’s been said before, but I really believe this is just the product of 25 years of trauma as a fan base. There are perfectly reasonable explanations for why the team has struggled more over the last month, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t feeling a little jittery. We’ve just had the rug pulled out from under us so many times. New ownership, new coaching, and new players mean this is a new day. But what we are seeing from fans is a learned response, and we need this new administration to teach us to unlearn it. That just takes time and success. Here’s to everyone feeling better after a (hopefully) great showing against Dallas!

  4. If he designs 40 pass plays again, and we lose to Dallas, then we have a serious problem. On the other hand, if he simply runs it 25 times (WITH RUNNING BACKS!), preferably with BRob and puts Dallas in their place, then there is still hope.
