Can the Dolphins Make a Wild Card Run in the Interesting AFC Playoff Race? Kay Reacts to MIA’s Odds

The top of the AFC is getting more interesting by the second…and so is this wild card race. I also wanted to take a second to talk about a few teams that helped their chances there this morning…starting with the Dolphins.

Miami followed up that MNF win over the Rams last week with a DOMINANT performance against the Raiders…and it just feels like they’re steadily getting back to the team we saw early on LAST year.

Tua completed 77% of his passes for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns. That was his first 3 TD game since October of 2023…and while it wasn’t the kind of fireworks show we’ve seen out of this offense at times, it’s hard to run an offense any more efficiently than Tua and McDaniel did yesterday. Just take a look at this…

The Dolphins ran 30 plays and ate nearly 17 minutes off the clock on their first 2 drives alone…setting the tone for a day that saw them score 34 points without a single punt or turnover. The Raiders defense literally couldn’t get them off the field…I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a drive chart like this in my life. Of course you want to see some more of those explosives and quick strikes come back if you’re Miami…but it’s hard to be upset with this.

And the Dolphins are still alive at 4-6…just a game and a half back of the Broncos for the final AFC Wild card spot.

  8. We need to talk about beating good teams until then they are the same team as last yr so really there is no hype if they make it thats awsome but wont get past a numb 1 seed just the facts with tua

  10. Doesn’t matter what they do if the Broncos don’t fall apart they aren’t getting in. They have to keep winning and hope the Colts and Broncos falter. It’s a lot to ask.

What are we like 100-0 against teams with losing record and 3-97 against teams with winning records?I'm being sarcastic but let's stop fooling ourselves until we can beat the Kcs,Buffalos,Ravens,Philly's,Detroit's just to name a few and a moral almost beat the Bills doesn't count when Josh Allen is 15-3 against us with like 41 TDs and only 4-5 pics.Beat some quality teams then we can have a real discussion..

  24. Anybody who has watched the dolphins over the last 25 years knows how this ends. Their season is done. Only thing left is for fans to get hurt again with a soul-crushing loss after more false hope
