Like I don't get it on paper our roster looks like cannon fodder yet we lead our division and are fifth overall in the entire league

  1. Wolf is our Lisan Al Gaib, but I think we’re going straight to the middle again. It’s equally enjoyable and frustrating to see us doing this well so far. I guess we just embrace what we have while we have it.

  2. 1) Goaltending Tandem

    And

    2) Full team collective buy-in. Even on the AHL level, the system at the NHL level is likely the same. It’s a full system buy-in. A player comes up and they know the system and plays that system.

  3. 10 games ago, we all said “oh well, we knew it wouldnt last,” when we started losing a few after a great start.

Thanksgiving (US) is next week. Thats when the telling shows.

Im gonna ride the high and plan the parade.

  4. It’s not entirely sustainable winning this kind of games the whole time and winning them in the hardest way possible, but sure it’s fun while it lasts!

The worst case would be 1, 2 spots out of the playoffs spot and getting some shitty 15th pick.

  5. It what they always say about the flames. We gonna have the best team in the Pacific or West and we end up missing the playoffs. Than u get the oh the flames are gonna be bad this year and they end up making the playoffs and exiting first round

  6. It’s crazy because it feels like it’s a teeter totter. Either our goaltending softens and we shit the bed or they stay the same and our special teams start popping and we keeping winning.

Either way it’s the just fun I have had watching this team for years.

  7. If this team had a true 1C they’d be really interesting. Goaltending has been saving our ass but to have bonafide first line centre that wins draws and controls ply would be huge. I know every team wants one but I feel like our goaltending and wings/defense/prospects on D are all right there if we had a unifier at centre.
